TWO days remain until we reach yet another Milestone, the 3/4 marker to the Season and the start of our final quarter.
(Makes you want to get an advance on Car's eggnog blend!)

The humidity?
Oh, yeah. It's here in spades.
The temp?
Not too bad but coupled with the humidity, it makes you want to give a gold medal to whoever invented air conditioning.
Right now, we show 76 degrees here in the capital city.

For those of You who follow on the European Royals......it was just reported that Prince Friso...the brother of the King of the Netherlands has died after 18months in the coma (he was skying and was in an avalanche accident)

RIP Prince Friso....may Your family find the strenght to go through the loss
 
Hello everyone. My daughter had an appointment with an academic advisor this morning. I thought it would be nice if I took a ride with her but they don't let the parents go in with the students. So now I'm sitting in a waiting room. Hopefully she won't be too long.
It is raining here this morning but it is supposed to taper off by this afternoon. Not too much planned for today. The girls all have off from work so I'm going to pick up a pizza for lunch and we may do a little shopping this afternoon. I did a lot of cleaning yesterday so the house is in order. I just have some laundry and ironing to do.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be another warm humid day here in central Indy. The cold front is supposed to finally come though tonight though and it's going to feel great here the next couple of days. So I'm going to pack up the truck tomorrow morning and head out camping. I can only go overnight but I need to get away for awhile. So one night is better than none. So today is going to be spent cleaning and packing my gear. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

5 egg yolks
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup of key lime juice

Mix and pour into a graham cracker crust. Which I bought premade :)
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes :)

Molly did good today! She got a new stuffed duck toy, to remind her of the two that use to be in my pool all the time. lol New bows, Molly and Maggie always get new bows. And cookies! There is a local pet store nearby that has the cutest little cookies for dogs. Molly and Maggie both had a couple of pink iced flower shaped cookies. I can't believe she is 11 already!

School won't start around here for another couple weeks. I'm not looking forward to the school traffic coming back and making the commute longer.

Finally got a diagnosis for DD's belly pains and stuff. After 3 procedures and blood work the Dr says it's IBS. Which is not fun but at least it's not as bad as they originally thought. So we are trying to figure out what some of her trigger foods are so she can try to stay away from them.

Spent all last weekend shopping for school stuff. NC had a tax free weekend on school supplies and clothes, so we went Fri,Sat and Sun. But we got everything.

I am on my third cup of coffee already. I need to walk the dogs and get my day started. My 18 year old woke me up with a phone call at about 1:00 in the morning, she got in to a car accident. She wasn't driving, one of her guy friends was. It wasn't her friends fault, the other car went through a stop sign and t-boned his car. Thankfully no one was hurt. I drove down to where it happened to make sure everyone was alright and to take my daughter home. I'm telling you, these teenage years are wearing me out. It's so stressful. I'm at the point where I don't even say hello when they call me, the first words out of my mouth are "Are you alright?"
Anyway, I have to go food shopping today. I'm happy I made it to my butcher yesterday, so that is off my list. I also need to go to the bank and the pet store. Other than that it will be a typical day, I have laundry and some other chores to do.
It is going to be sunny today with a high of 82 degrees. I wish it were a bit cooler but the humidity is gone, so I shouldn't complain.

Good afternoon! I just wanted to drop in & say hello. I'll be heading to lunch soon! We had a great weekend - weather was just gorgeous! I'm tired today!!! We did do the 25 mile bike ride Saturday morning. It was so nice!! No wind! We went through the countrysie & up along the lake. Beautiful!

My hubby is on vacation this week - he is golfing this morning. NO FAIR! :lol:

Not much planned today. Catching up with a few chores and errands and then I have an appointment with the Doctor.

I am looking forward to the Meteor shower tonight!!! I love stuff like this !! I really hope we see something exciting. The morning paper says we should have a clear night for viewing.

Fogot to share some exciting news. I picked up the autum Argos catelogue and inside it said the christmas one will be out on October 14th!!!!

will watch out for the shower, didnt know there was going to be one!! My mum picked me up a copy of the new argos! Keira has already looked through the toy section afew times and noted what she wants for xmas, she will do this several hundred times more before december lol!! xx
 
Good Monday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I usually make my main post earlier in the day, but after having been out of the office for a week, I was slammed with emails and post-it notes that demanded immediate attention. I'm finally caught up.

We had a great vacation! We got home yesterday afternoon about 6pm. It was 92° and 100% humidity. Yikes, it never got over 78° in Maggie Valley last week! I wanted to give Mgramsey a call to meet for a cup of coffee while I was in the neighborhood, but my family kept me on the run all week.

Still, it was good to see Bellville. A week is about as much time away from home as I want at one time. And it's good to have full-time access to MMC, too!
