My 5y/o was being watched by a friend of ours today and she took him to McDonald's for lunch and the playland, he was playing with a girl he met there and was trying to get her phone number and give her ours. :lol: He is 5! I cracked up when my wife told me when I got home. Our little Don Juan.

that is so cute! So did she call him back?

Barely over 2 1/2 weeks remain now until we open that final Window, the 100-day Christmas Day Milestone, after which we will be in double-double territory.
(And you know from experience how quickly the Season seems to come after that!)

Warm and humid still yesterday but tolerable. Just a sprinkle of rain fell.
Today should be a repeat only likely without the rain.
I read 76 degrees this morning on our back door thermometer.

Morning! Looks like you all had a fun time viewing QVC last night. Anyone buy anything?

I logged into MMC and was greeted with very exciting news - my ornament exchange partner! It is the first time I am doing the exchange and I am really looking forward to it. I just hope I do not disappoint my partner, I'm a little nervous about finding the perfect ornament!

My son is back at school next wednesday! They actually got less time off this year, almost a whole week less, just 5wks&2days. Atleast they get a week holiday the last week of October which means we can have a alot of fun celebrating Halloween. Mr. Festive will also be off on holiday that week!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

It looks like it was a wild night at the Pines last night. We'll never be able to sweep up all this glitter!

The boss's visit yesterday was short and uneventful. He did a few video conferences, took us out to lunch, then left for Birmingham. I guess it could have been worse, eh?

I plan to spend some time on the Camaro this evening...unless Nancy has amended my plan for me. We'll see. :wink:

I ordered the multi-colored one. I ordered one because I realized that we will not have access to our Christmas stuff because of construction, and I wanted something Christmasy!

The Benadryl is a good idea. I did that last night and it helped me sleep plus I've barely coughed all day. Hope it helps you too!!! Goodnight!!!!

My allergies always kick in @ the start of autumn! Mine & Busters too!! I ended up giving him a 1/2 Benadryl last night too!! Poor guy!! He wasn't showing any allergy signs until last night - POOF, there they are!

I hear ya Made! I am wide awake as well few hours before the rest of the USA wakes up. I put myself to good use I suppose and am washing bedsheets in the guest bedroom because we have friends coming in to town for the long holiday weekend! Speaking of the holiday weekend..Started as early as yesterday(weds) Police and State Patrol are out everywhere in full force.. I guess people are already starting to travel for the weekend. I have to work today and tomrorrow then its 3 days of BBQ and swimming in the pool doing cannonballs!! Have a great morning everyone!
