My 5y/o was being watched by a friend of ours today and she took him to McDonald's for lunch and the playland, he was playing with a girl he met there and was trying to get her phone number and give her ours. :lol: He is 5! I cracked up when my wife told me when I got home. Our little Don Juan.

Last year a little girl from my sons class called him and he was so embarrassed the first time! He didn't know what to say and got off the phone quick. She called back later and he put his feet up, kicked back, and talked like an old pro.

Jeannine, blowing out the birthday straw... Forgot to bring candle to camp!
We all retreated inside due to a very bright and noisy thunderstorm, it put out the camp fire. The rain has stopped now, storm moved on, going to be nice the rest of the weekend.

I have things to get ready for the store - hopefully it will be a busy weekend there! The rest of the evening I am going to relax. I have to finish the book I started a few days ago as I went to two libraries yesterday and checked book out from each. Lots of reading to do in the next few weeks - good stuff, though!

Ok an update to my Monopoly mishap. So a few days ago the company said they would send over the right version and collect the wrong one they sent me.

It came today. No it is not good news. It is the same WRONG version that they sent me earlier in the week.......ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm going to combust!!!

It's a busy day here at work, so I can't stay long.

Jacob's guitar recital is tonight, and the whole family is coming to see him. He's not even nervous! He just started playing in the praise band at school. Unlike Chorus, who sings traditional Christian music, the praise band plays contemporary praise and worship songs with drums, guitars, keyboard, etc. They had their first opportunity to play before the school during last Wednesday's chapel. I wanted to leave work to go hear them, but he didn't want us to come to his first "gig". he said it went great though, and we're welcome to come to future chapels LOL.

I hope y'all have a great THREE DAY WEEKEND here in the US! cheesy

I did say something about that, but I went and smelled it at Yankee Candle and it turned my stomach. It sounds much better than the smell.
