Just finished watching the Bruins, they lost the game in overtime, but it was an exciting game. I have my late shift tomorrow instead of today, so I will be thrown off for the rest of the week.

Not yet. It's supposed to start on Friday and go into Saturday. And then hopefully getting stronger once it hits the atlantic and then hopefully again we will get clobbered...But, It's wishful thinking for now. However, We are supposed to get up to an inch of snow tonight. I just love it....

today turned out different than planned!
Got called into work for a few hours, took a panicking mom to have blood pressure checked (which was OK and she is now settled down about it!) and spent a lot of the rest of the time just reading..."An Untamed Land" by Lauraine Snelling. Cannot seem to put it down.
Left to pick up my eldest from work and 1/2 block from home get pulled over by a very handsome cop. My window was frozen shut so had to open my door to talk to him. He actually thought I was drunk!!! Just because i served a bit while doing something. Then he wanted to know if I was driving my own vehicle and when I said yes, he said wait here a min and went back to his car. Came back again and apologize, he ran my plates wrong the first time. Told me to have a nice night and I could leave.
And now I am home again.
My book is calling me so I am going upstairs

Night, y'all!
With an afterthought to this post I made, "I just love it", I felt a moment where I needed to say something further about that, so, as I am sheepishly saying this, I did my very first blog here/ anywheres. I just started typing what was in my heart and mind and before I knew it, there it was...I titled it: Snow, Reflections and Christmas!
I'm not sure what to think of it since I have never done anything like that ever before. One thing I did forget to do was to put it in a catagory like General christmas or something like that where everyone can read it.
This explains a lot-

Yes, the peak has been crested and we have begun the slide down to the Weekend.

Days to Christmas Day: 335
A scant 19 days remain until we reach our second Milestone of 2013, the one-fourth-of-the-way mark to the Season.
(Wow. We seem to be moving right along!)
Cold weather is now entrenched here in NC at least until Monday, with lows well below freezing and the highs below 40. Too cold for this old Florida-born soul.
(At least it is supposed to be calm, dry and sunny today.)
We stand at 34 degrees here, currently.
You -- each and every one -- have a Thoroughly Thrilling Thursday, while visions of Christmas Season 2013 dance in your heads.
(And hey! Weekend Eve tomorrow, you know!)
