I just picked up my eldest from school and I am about to start dinner. Is it me or does anyone else think that the days just seem to go by so fast. I mean it is Friday tomorrow!

DH has applied for a different position in his company, he is a bit stressed out in his current role and has been looking to change departments. I would really appreciate it if you all could say a little pray/send best wishes his way. It would mean a great deal to us. Thanks!

I miss school. Every year at this time I have the strongest urge to buy Comp. books, gel pens and a pencil cartridge for my Cross pencil (one of the best presents ever from my brother!)

wow, we are having one heck of a light show right now. Lots of lightening and loud thunder. Looks beautiful, been going on for half an hour now.

I forgot to mention that I spoke with my Aunt last night. Her dog Bella is doing very well. She didn't have any complications after the surgery and is getting around on her own. They feel so blessed that she pulled through!

Our city is growing, Look what two new stores are opening soon! They are across the street from each other.

I have a Target about 5 minutes away from my house. I love it, I go at least once a week. The only down side is that I always end up buying more than I intend to.

I have a group of 4 friends that go out together for our birthdays - tonight they are taking me out for my birthday! Mexican & then ???? So between the no bake cookies & mexican food & margarita tonight - the scale will not be friend in the morning!!! But it will be fun! :grin:

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be cooler here today with a high in the low 80's. It's going to be pretty dreary today too. Busy morning here. I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with the paper throwing a fit because I didn't get a paper today for the second week in a row. Which is a pain because today is when we get all of our grocery ads. So after I got off the phone with the paper I had to run up to the gas station and buy one. Okay, vent over!!!! LOL!!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

How annoying! I hope that doesn't happen again.
