Christmas Countdown - 2013

Last night while Hubby was at the Elks last night, I fell asleep a little after 6 p.m. and slept until Hubby arrived home a little after 8 p.m. I had had a bad headache, not quite a migraine, but close. He and I watched TV for a while and luckily I was able to fall asleep again. I woke up with a residual headache this morning. It sort of feels like a sinus infection. I hate that! I am going to take it easy today. Tomorrow we have plans to have Rock Cornish Game Hens with wild rice, corn, salad, and one other thing that I can't remember. Hubby normally does this dinner; I just cook the rice! I hope everyone has great day. Some of your plans sound so inviting and fun! We have good weather again today, so fallish, cool and just plain wonderful!

Good morning! Quick shower, big cup of coffee, and then a baby dr. appointment. Today is her first check-up!

After that, we are going to come home and sleep.

There have been some looooooonnnnnnnnggggg nights here....but it will get better....I'm sure!

Molly is doing well today, I think the medicine is helping. I noticed that she doesn't have any traction on the wood floors that we put in. I'm wondering if she may have strained herself somehow. As soon as my husband is finished painting we will be getting new area rugs for all of the rooms. In the meantime I have a small one down, just for her and Maggie!

Thanks, Ryan. I am glad this is the meal that my husband likes to do since I really do not feel well. He is marinating the hens right now in a Jack Daniels teriyaki marinade.

Care parcel delivered to my nephew at college, cookies and coffee. Had dorm police come in and question me as this was the boys dorm no girls allowed! Gave them the cookies and explained I was an aunt not a girl, all fine now!

Good afternoon all! Just getting back from the airport with bil and sil! We have not seen them since me and Brandi tied the knot so this has been a while. My brother in law is Jewish and so all the food in our house this week is Kosher and my sis in law is going to make some Jewish bread tonight and it smells great so far!

Also I am almost afraid to turn on CBS stations right now to see the Ga /LSU score but I guess I must because the game should almost be over by now! Our leaves are almost at peak fall color right now. I imagine in a few weeks they will already be on the ground and maybe replaced by snow. We still have not seen any flakes yet but the mts outside our door has snow all over the tops of them. Well have a great weekend everyone I will be in and out the next few days!

I hope you feel better soon sinus infections are no fun and fall allergies can be just at bad as the springtime ones and can resemble the flu...Maybe take some allergy med if you have any..I hope you feel better soon!
