Morning all. I was suppose to be on holiday this week, but due to someone calling in sick last night I've had to come in. Not a great way to start a week. Need some cheering up

And of course, a new week means a new count figure, and that we are another step closer to Christmas Season 2013.

Tomorrow. Where will we be?

Two weeks off from our next Milestone, the one quarter mark to the Season,
that's where we'll be.

Well, we continued a bit too chilly for my blood yesterday.
But tomorrow and Wednesday are supposed to see us safely into the 70's. That will certainly be a welcome change!
We have 34 degrees and a light drizzle here at this hour.
You have a Marvelous Monday, Friends.
And I hope your Week is off to a Wonderous start, in keeping with the situation!

Good morning everyone!
Another weekend has past and we're nearing the end of the first month of 2013. It was an enjoyable weekend here in Ottawa. Kim and I managed to stay in on Friday and then met with some friends on Saturday night. It was good times. Yesterday was spent mostly cleaning and (for me) doing homework.
It looks like we could be in for a treat today. We should receive about 5cm of snow this afternoon. The rest of the week won't be pretty either. Rain and freezing rain - and lots of it! That's for Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll see how that turns out.
I don't think we have many plans for this week. A friend informed me that due to our running of a local rink, we were given free tickets for the Ottawa Senators and Washington Capitals game tomorrow night. I'm a fan of neither team, but it should be an entertaining game to watch.
Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and is looking forward to the next as well. It will be nice to flip the calendar on Friday!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
I haven't slept well this weekend, and now I'm tired & my eyes are burning. The coffee isn't even helping much. Ain't it a shame when, at 9:30 am, you're looking forward to going to bed tonight? LOL
We took my former boss out for dinner Saturday night to a fancy restaurant. You have to understand that I'm a country boy, so Olive Garden is about a fancy as I can stand, but this place had a dress code, and offered only 6 entree choices. Among these choices was roast duck in some kind of wine sauce, and of all things, ratatouille. My kids loved hearing about that since we've seen the Disney/Pixar movie a hundred times.
Anyway, I left there and went to a new coffee shop that competes with Starbucks here in the southeast, called Elliano's. Good cuppa joe! Dawg, I think there's one in Valdosta, too.
Well, ...*yawn*...I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be warmer today with a high in the low 50's this afternoon. Unfortuantely it's going to rain all day too. Oh well, at least it ain't sleet like we got last night. Not a lot going on here today. Just some work I need to get done on the computer. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I had pan-seared scallops on a bed of creamed corn, with fried kale.
Not bad, but I would have preferred a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. cheesy
Surprisingly good! Hubby bought them in the freezer section of Wal-Mart. I was impressed because I normally don't like Chinese unless it is from a restaurant.

back from work and thinking bed sounds good! I am feeling so old lately, I ache all over, want to sleep a lot and constantly tired. would the time of year have anything to do with it? I am not sick, just wore out. Maybe I need a oil change or something.
You all have a good night, I have the next 2 days off so will try to visit a little more.
