I'm usually cutting well into October, then one last run near the end of November to mulch the fallen pecan leaves.

Good afternoon everyone!
It has been a quiet morning at work. The phone hasn't rang and I have been able to do some ever-important data entry work. Hopefully it will be complete by the end of the day. There is a decent amount.
It's a nice overcast day thus far. Temperatures are currently in the lower double digits/50s and set to reach the upper teens/60s. A perfect mid-October day, really. The only disappointment is that rain appears to be in the forecast for the rest of the week...
No plans for today. Only the gym after work. Hopefully the long weekend of running around didn't wear me down too much! Great to see that the countdown is within 30 days to the Christmas Season. 29 has never looked so good!

We are done with the weed eating. We live on the side of a mountain so we really have no lawn. I keep a lot of it natural and weed eat around house and keep the briars cut in the woods. Now we are in leaf raking mode. The leaves from the Popular trees are falling. I rake them away from the house and into the woods.

Hey everyone! It's a busy day here at work but I just wanted to pop in to say hello!
ETA: Our forecast calls for lows in the lower to mid 30's and highs in the low 50's..ours leaves are mostly gone but there are a few that are hanging on...I am not use to an early fall..back in Georgia they are just beginning to change colors!!

I have been busy today, went to get my haircut, I no longer look like a Chia pet. I mistimed my day, and left too early so after my haircut I had to kill over 90 minutes to get to my dentist appointment. So, what does a Christmas nut do to kill time? Go to all the stores and check out how all the Christmas displays at all the stores are going. I went to Macy's, they have theirs all set, a lot of nice high end stuff. Sears, they are truly pitiful if you want something else besides a tree. Ocean State Job Lot, was setting up lots of cards and lights out. Kohl's, the best of the lot, nice set up and FULL! I checked other stores but nothing to report. Of course, I forgot my cellphone at home, so I have no pictures.
