Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good evening,

Just a few more days of this madness to go, then the real madness of BF will be upon us. I am dreading it very much right now, I feel my anxiety build when they talk about it at work. Please, if you may, have a thought or say a prayer for me when it comes to next Friday, I am so worried I will have a panic attack, and be unable to handle the situation.

We sold just under 300 turkeys alone on Thursday, we were nearly at 100 when I left work today, I am guessing 200-250 tomorrow. My body is tired and sore from all the lifting.

I am going to bed now.

i haven't been on in a few weeks, hope you are all well.

my village put all their christmas lights up yesterday. it looks stunning. next saturday the tree is going up in the village, and afterwards our local cinema is showing "the polar express" i can't wait!

Good morning everyone! 11 Days into the Christmas Season!

It's our second weekend of the Christmas Season and times are flying by! As mentioned, I had no work yesterday due to having to take my car into the shop. Thankfully, it was only $259 with tax. I couldn't afford much more, so I am thankful for that. Hopefully I'll receive at least four calls next week to help pay for that another other debts that I may currently have!

It appears to be a nice day in Ottawa. A little bit of snow is on the way, but not as much as the southern part of Ontario. Kim and I have to drive to Cornwall this morning. It's her nephews' 7th birthday. They are twins. They are getting big, too! Nearly closer to 10 than 5. It should be a fun time filled with food and festivities. We're returning tomorrow morning and the forecast looks good for then, too. Lucky for us!

Yesterday, Kim and I went to the mall. Unfortunately, we went to the same mall (St. Laurent Centre) which I have already photographed. Kim needed to go to Toys 'R Us to purchase gifts for the birthdays today, so we couldn't really go to another mall. Oh well! I think we'll be able to stop into the Rideau Centre next weekend. I don't yet believe there are any plans.... I'll make sure to add that stop to our schedule!

Well, I should be off. We are hitting the road shortly. Hopefully Kim enjoys the Christmas music we'll be listening to throughout the drive! I know I will. Have a great Saturday, everyone! Merry Christmas!!

Good morning!
Today is my oldest daughter's 20th birthday! I can't believe it. Where did the time go?
We will all be going out for an early dinner to celebrate her birthday. Then the girls will be going in to the city with a group of their friends to see a concert.
I need to get moving soon. I have to get my food shopping done, I have nothing in the house!

My daughter needed to go shopping, discovered they have not yet put anything on the roads and wow are they slick!
I am waiting in van since I have no shopping to do and really did not feel like going into work. Right now the snow has stopped but more is coming, very windy.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a cold day here with some rain and snow moving in tonight. Alot of stuff to get done today. Need to run to the grocery, wrap my aunt's gifts, then head out to my sister's house to get ready for my aunt's birthday party tonight. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County continued

Snow squalls developing Saturday morning.

An Arctic cold front will sweep through Southern Ontario early Saturday morning. In the wake of this front, brisk northwesterly winds over the open water of the Great Lakes will result in the development of snow squalls southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Multiple snow squall bands are forecast to develop Saturday morning. As winds become more northwesterly by Saturday evening, single bands are expected to develop off Lake Huron from Strathroy to London and off Georgian Bay from Barrie and Collingwood to Innisfil. The heaviest squalls could produce snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm per 12 hours. Snow squalls are expected to last through Sunday before tapering off.

Visibilities near zero are possible in snow squalls and blowing snow and hazardous driving conditions are expected.

Thanks, Meceka!!! She is doing pretty good tonight. Almost completely back to normal.

I didn't get to sleep any though. She went ahead and made an appointment with her family doctor this afternoon, so I had to take her to it. They put her back on a baby aspirin with the anti clot and are trying to get her into a new neuro since she doesn't like the other one she has been seeing.

I hope the meds work for her and that the new neuro will be one she likes! Continued prayers for your mom and you, made! {{{HUGS}}}

Well it looks like a very cold one tomorrow here in North Jersey - they're calling for a high of 27, 20mph winds, and snow showers. I'll be in and out all day though setting up the Christmas lights before I leave for the warmer weather of Southern California for Thanksgiving on Tuesday!

The Nutcracker was beautiful! Elizabeth has three parts: a rat in the battle scene, the head of the Chinese dragon, and a snowflake in the snow scene. I have to say, I'm not easily brought to tears, but seeing her dancing in the snow scene made my eyes well up with tears. She was so beautiful!

We have another show tonight, and an afternoon show tomorrow.

Good afternoon, Christmas Family!

Since I cannot get Kringle Radio on here at home I am listening to the local radio station that finally switched over to all Christmas music on Wednesday. It is so cold out today that I'm staying in and working on my to-do list. It's good to check items off!
