Home cooking is rare for them with so many yummy foods available for busy families. But the chatter and the appreciation when we bake is so special.

Oh definitely the kids taught me that one... works with jam donuts too. I've got pretty cluey gastronomers here that even invite friends when I bake. I love it! Home cooking is rare for them with so many yummy foods available for busy families. But the chatter and the appreciation when we bake is so special.
A certain little Christmas dove informed me yesterday that an anonymous MMC member gifted me a 1yr Platinum membership. Since this is the message thread I'm the most active in - you MUST be lurking about in here somewhere.
I was completely overwhelmed by this gift. Truly - you have no idea how much this message board means to me. No one around me in my daily life loves this holiday in the same way I do. It's nice to them, but that's really where it ends. Quite often I end up feeling rather alone in my enthusiasm, so being here, I consider it such a blessing.

Good evening everyone! Hope you all are doing fine. :] I had my exam earlier today and I am so glad it is finally over. It was supposed to be the most challenging one so I am happy it is already down.
Also, I had a nice accident this morning at the local M&S. I went there to buy my mum some of her favourite Indian chai tea and there were classical Christmas songs playing in the store. I have heard a lovely old lady singing one of them. Her singing was actually very neat and beautiful and I couldn't resist but tell her how much I like her singing and her voice. At the end, I ended up finding out that she use to sing when she was young. Also, I found out that she loves Christmas time as much as I do (and, of course, as we all do!)! It was very nice. ^^

Good afternoon, MMC friends! How are you all doing? I am doing pretty well. Just lounging around today.
What are you all up to today? Not doing much right now, but the family and I have plans for this evening. EA was up most of the night with a fever and abdominal pain. I think she has a virus and has slightly passed it off to me, but it will be okay. It's Christmas and I'm trying to stay jolly! You seems to be feeling somewhat better now.
Yesterday we were very busy. We had EA's pre-K family Christmas party and it turned out lovely. We had a lot of fun and the kids put on a performance. They sang beautifully! After that, I took EA to showing of Polar Express, where they also acted out some of the scene's, had a dinner, with popcorn, cookies, hot chocolate, and Santa. We do this every year. She loved it!
This evening, as long as EA is feeling up to it, we're going to go out for dinner, and then we're going to an annual light display, that I've been going to since I've been going to. We'll look at some around the neighborhood too. They'll beautiful with the snow.
I am off work still tonight, then work the next two days, then am off again. I love the holidays!

Okay, I've read all of the posts, just don't have enough time to reply right now. I'll try to get back here later tonight. It just depends how busy the grocery store is. I just realized that I forgot to pick up sticks of butter when I was in the mad rush to beat the snow on friday.
