Good evening, MMC!
I do believe I might be better today - being outside in the fresh air and sunshine when taking care of the fur kids seems to have helped me immensely. Rain/snow/ice on the way - nobody is sure what is coming, just that it will be messy. I've been working on an afghan during my spare time - it is going a bit faster now that I have the pattern down. I am on the middle row and just might get it finished by the end of the weekend. That would be nice - could start on a new one! There is paperwork to be done but I think I will do it tomorrow afternoon. I have to eat dinner yet and then I'm not sure what I will do, but it has to be something Christmassy!
Be MERRY!

busy day at work, got more so as the day went on.
I have tomorrow off and have to head into Mississauga and then go to Costco to pick up some flour and sugar.
When I get home I have baking to do and the every popular cleaning.
Now I am just going to relax with a good book.
Carl did not think that was a good idea, he dragged me into the main room insisting I try the eggnog. Hmmm, anyone try it yet?He did make a non alcoholic batch since I do not drink, so I think it may be safe to try.
Crown, congratulations to your niece!
Virginia, I hope you are okay after the ant episode!

My goodness! It's huge. When can I eat it?
Don't tell him but I already tried a little piece and it tastes as good as it looks!!!
104° in December?!? Bless your heart! And I was complaining about it being in the 70's this weekend. You're welcome to visit chilly southeast Georgia anytime!
Oh, I'm so jealous!!! Which bit did you nibble at? Can I see it in the photo?
I'm arriving for 'Pines Day a little late. I'd be extra worried, but it is great that Carl agreed to hold the final 'Pines Day before Christmas Day next Tuesday. One more time to be merry and celebrate with you all!
Despite not working this week, I've been really busy. Cassie is in full move-in mode. I've been able to help her move a lot of things here from her old apartment. There's a lot more stuff here now, but it is good. She's in good spirits, that's all we can ask. It would have been great to work a couple days this week, but I missed two important calls by less than a minute. You know, those time when you don't have your phone on you for a brief moment? Yep. Twice. Oh well.
I see that the Big Christmas Podcast has been released. I'm excited to download it and give it a listen. In fact, I already have the perfect time to listen. I'll be flying home to Sault Ste. Marie tomorrow evening. It will be nice to fly from Ottawa to Toronto hearing the final sounds of our Season and then enjoying some more Christmas music in the sky from Toronto to the Sault.
I am a little excited to get home and see my family. Of course, not being around Kim for 10 days isn't fun, but we both have our reasons for going to our respective homes. Well, I have some reading to do on here. I want to see how everyone else is celebrating this joyous 'Pines Day. We're only a week away from Christmas Day... but there is still plenty of time to spread some Christmas Spirit. Merry Christmas, everyone!
