Funny you should say...I almost made banana bread today, too! But then I decided to make pumpkin bread for my little grandson who feels under the weather. He is a big fan of Starbucks pumpkin bread, but it has SO much sugar I feel guilty giving it to him. I wonder if he'll eat Nana's pumpkin bread without the extra cup of sweetness!
It smells good anyway!

Brrr...it's so cold outside!! 6 degrees, windy, with wind chills reaching -25. In fact, they just put a wind chill advisory out for our area. So, I'm turning on the fireplace, cuddling with Harlowe, and starting some Cold Case Files from Netflix. I love listening to Bill Kurtis, he's got such a mesmerizing voice.

It is a wonderful forecast! Just wish I could stay home & savor it here.

We live right off the highway, and I'm not that impressed with the city plowing, salting, and maintenance, etc. There aren't any guardrails on some of the off ramps, so I get nervous with them. I drive safe & slow, but you have the semi's & drivers that think they're invincible to worry about
