Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good evening, everyone. Hope you all had a nice end to your week. I am relaxing with DH and the kids, then going to lay down here in a little bit - I work this weekend.

Anyone have anything planned for the weekend? Nothing that I can think of here. DH works daylight both days and since I work night shift until Monday, it doesn't leave much room for anything. I also have to take call for 7p to 11p on Sunday night, before my shift, but I have a bad feeling I will get called in. It's been busy at work.

Well, off to watch some tv with the kids and lay here for awhile, then off to nap! Talk to you guys later! God Bless!

My dearest FIL passed away yesterday...
He looked so peaceful and beautiful laying there.
But it was so sad, so unreal. I still cant belive it!
At the same time, I just know he is in a much better place now.
His mom passed away last year, and I'm sure she and his father
was greeting him when he left this earth.
I'm sure they have a reunion up there... ♥

We have a tough week in front of us..
I just wanted to say thank you, for all your prayers.
I love you guys! ♥

I saved a PDF of this page for future reference. At the end of a cold, I can never get rid of the cough and tickle, especially when I'm trying to sleep. This may be the answer. Thanks!

We are now in the 2-5 inch range, I found that picture the other night. The group in front of the stills is The Move, I just thought it was a great picture that I have never seen before.

I had a scary morning/day. After I got off of MMC this morning, lights were flickering through the house to the point the electricity was only going off in certain rooms then come back on. It wasn't the whole house at the same time, it was different rooms. I got worried we had some type of electrical short and was worried a fire would spark. I did a lot of trouble shooting, checking all the breakers, outlets, etc. Finally called the electric company to rule out a problem there before having an electrician come out. He spent close to an hour here and discover a bad connector outside and replaced it. He also cut down some branches that were laying on the power lines. Phew! It's been a long day dealing with that but happy it all turned out well and we are out of danger!

The roads are terrible here. They haven't even plowed the off ramps, yet. I saw 2 cars in the ditch on the way to my first appointment. Can't wait to get done with my errands, and get home to enjoy the beauty of the snow...from my living room window =]

Very busy day, everyone preparing for the end of the world snowstorm. Tomorrow will be busier, of course. Watching Twilight with my wife is torture, I hate these movies, brownie points.
