I just read from some of you about people getting upset about Christmas things being out so early. Same with Easter, it was out in January. Oh my! I am so mad! Ha ha!

I was reading on Hobby Lobby's facebook page last summer when they were already putting Christmas items out in late June, probably only 1 or 2 aisles then. There were so many people ranting over it and telling Hobby Lobby they will never shop in their store again. Umm... You don't HAVE to walk down those aisles!!! Hobby Lobby is a HUGE store and it's real easy to ignore the Christmas aisles if they bother you and just keep moving. Why on earth would you stop shopping at a store just because of Christmas items. You would think they were stocking the shelves with highly offensive stuff. I never realized Santa, snowmen and reindeer were so offensive! laying:

I just don't get it!

We have some customers that shop in the store that must be offended by soap and toothpaste. I am sure they stay away from those aisles because they stink! cheesy unfortunately it really seems that way

Happy Pines' Day all!!

I am beginning to think they should install a revolving door at the place I work. They just can't seem to keep anybody anymore. They keep hiring people then within a few months they quit. Some of these people are the ones that's supposed to make it possible for me to move to first shift. That's right, I am still waiting, and my patience is wearing thin to the point that I am starting to think about looking for another job. I really don't want to do that, having to start all over at another job, especially at my age.

I hope things work out for you soon, you have been more than patient waiting for them to move you.

It is Wednesday, and it is the 27th so it is my night shift and inventory night. Don't want to go like usual.

Made my run to the Goodwill store after dropping LC off at preschool, there was a Santa Claus lamp there but I have no place for it to go so I didn't buy it. I was racking my brain trying to think of a possible place to put it during the holidays and I couldn't do it. So I will let someone else love it.

I must start getting ready.

Happy 'Pines Day everyone!

It's another double celebration week. 'Pines followed by a milestone tomorrow. And, of course, the calendar flips once again on Friday as we enter March. Does that make it a triple celebration week? Three days and three special occurrences. Hooray!

The forecast calls for heavy snow to hit Ottawa today. We are in for about close to 20 cms of the white stuff. 8 inches. It could be worse! The good news is that our daily highs for the long range forecast are hovering right around the freezing mark. Indeed, March is nearly here.

There is not much new today. I hope everyone is enjoying their final days of February. Time to celebrate at the 'Pines!

Hey everyone! I haven't been on that much but I am still dealing with a cold. It's not real bad but I just feel really drained. I will be okay! Just eating well, drinking plenty of fluids and taking vitamins. I will "kick" this cold soon and try to be on here more.

I've always wanted a full size leg lamp...someday! =]
...I compromised with a leg lamp night light!

Thinking of you SIT. Is there nothing that management can do? Are they willing to lose you? Why not put you at first and have at least someone happy and willing to work? Otherwise, they are in jeopardy of losing you and the others who seem to quit. What is the reason for others quitting so much? Seems like management needs to look closer at the situation.

Definitely something to do with the number 300.

Carl has fed me to many fired Twinkies and sweet tea over the years, I am afraid I would get stuck in that thing! Not to mention there is no way I would down it even if I did fit!!
