I have to go back for another heart catheterization, doggone it.

Plus, he's going to be out of town for a few days, so he said to take it easy and don't get too excited until he gets back...LOL!

He doesn't know me: if I find some leftover Christmas decorations in Walmart, I might pop this cork!

You are in my prayers, Brad!

Everyone please pray for my pap. He went to the doctor because his cold isn't improving and they discovered that he has heart problems :( They said that we really have to watch that he doesn't have a stroke and that they are going to have to send him for tests before getting him on medication.

He is in my prayers, jennifer!

What---no snowballs today? This is the first day in a few that no one has chucked a Snowbattle snowball at me. :snowball:

One of the best parts of a Saturday---a mug of tea, a cookie or two, and MMC. And---it's not snowing today! In spite of being snowed in yesterday, it was a hectic day working at home, and upsetting seeing the coastline damage on TV (two houses on Plum Island toppled into the ocean because the winter storms had eaten out their underpinnings). On top of that, the printer started acting up. But it's Saturday and that's behind me now. The sun is shining, it's going up into the 40s (F) today, and we're going out for lunch later. There's stuff that needs doing around the house, but right now I'm doing a Scarlett and deciding to think about that later.

Good morning everyone!

Friday. The weekend is nearly upon us. Let's hope it will be a good one! The forecast in Ottawa calls for highs of 5c (41f) and 7c (45f). Perfect for an early March weekend. Kim and I are both busy on Saturday night with birthdays. A close friend of hers is having her party in one area and my friend is having his around the corner from our apartment. I also agreed to attend a sporting event with our roommate Mike, so I won't be able to make her friend's party. I'll just have to attend my friend's instead. It should be a good time!

Tonight, Kim and I have agreed to go see Oz: The Great and Powerful. She loves the Wizard of Oz. I have always been indifferent. I somewhat enjoyed the book. The cast is pretty star-studded and the animation looks excellent. We'll see how it goes!

I hope everyone has a great final day of the work week. Only one more week until our next milestone. Enjoy!

How was the movie? I was going to go see it last night but people were being so slow at getting ready that we never made it to the show. Part of the movie was filmed about an hour away from where I live cheesy

Good morning,

I called out sick again today, which was probably a good thing since we have already gotten 15-17 inches of snow and it is still coming down pretty heavy. The news said last night 4-6 inches total. Another day of rest awaits me, everyone is home for a snow day since schools were cancelled.
Enjoy your day.

I hope you are better today! Stay safe!!

I'm on Long Island and that is how it is on our north and south shores. Ever since Hurricane Sandy, it has been one thing after another. People are still trying to rebuild and put their homes back together. Areas were flooded again the past two days with this latest storm. My heart goes out to everyone affected.

As does mine.

Wow! It's so great! It made me smile and really start waiting for Christmas. :] Thank you for posting this.

Sometimes it happens this way that you don't really feel like sleeping a required amount of time. ^^ Hope you enjoyed your breakfast. :]

And merry and nice weekend everyone on MMC!

Hi, VictoriaLT - I hope you have a MERRY weekend, too!

Good afternoon, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone well/better and safe! Busy day for me today. I spent the morning organizing in the attic. I have several bags of items to donate to Goodwill and several bags of trash to put out once the driveway dries up some. It is a mucky mess out there right now and there is still rain on the way tonight and tomorrow.

I also have a shocking confession to make: I am listening to the Celine Dion These Are Special Times CD and I rather like it, esp. song 11 cheesy

Have a most MERRY day!!!

Good afternoon all! I have decided to watch some old horror films this afternoon. I will start out watching Psycho(1960) then the original Halloween...I always have to eat candy when I watch Halloween. I am addicted to blow pops too and Brandi went to Sam's warehouse and got like 500 of them! So everyone can see I have nothing planned except to bum around today in my pj's and watch some scary movies! Hope everyone has a great afternoon!

Now, that sounds like a good day. Too bad it's not October. Christmas would be coming.

I know! I thought the same thing. Oh well I can imagine it's October..the way I see it we only have 6 months until "the season" starts.and now we will be living in a cold climate we are going to have an amazing fall/winter this year.

Nope. Not the same.
Just not the same.

Happy Early Birthday to your mom!!!!!!

Did your daughter have a fun time at the prom?

My daugher almost didn't go to the prom (boy trouble) but she pulled herself together at the last minute, looked beautiful and had a good time with her friends. Ugh. So much drama.
I hope your sinus infection clears up very, very soon!

That scares me with my boys, they already eat a ton and they are only 4 and 7. We were watching Wreck It Ralph yesterday my wife and I both fell asleep while watching it, and LC (4y/o) almost ate a WHOLE bag of Doritos. I can't want to see how much they eat when they become teens. :-?

Thats so funny. I have three petite girls, I don't know where they put it all!
