Good morning, friends! Happy first day of spring! How is everyone? All is well here. Just sitting here relaxing with all of you and drinking a cup of coffee. DH is working and the kids are at preschool and daycare.

Last night was so much fun. The girls had a blast. My friend's daughter is always a little bashful, but by the middle of dinner, she opened up and was started to be herself. They both had a lot of fun. She brought EA a gift for inviting her along. I thought that was so sweet. Little girls have such sweet hearts. She got her a Hello Kitty Ty Beanie Baby, that was dressed like a Easter Bunny - EA slept with it last night. :-D

What are everyone's plans for today? I don't have a lot to do. I am going to sweep the house, do some wash, and figure out what we're going to do for dinner.

Hope you're all having a great day so far! I am going to get caught up on the posts. Talk to you guys here later on. God Bless! Talk soon! cheesy

I will enjoy it. I always feel SO GOOD after I finish! This past week, I worked mainly on organizing all that mail. Finally finished that with plans to really keep on top of it this time!

I hope you had a good night's rest! I still have a lot to organize here, too. I find it really amazing how much stuff I have accumulated over the years. Enjoy your day!!!

Me, too, Frosty. I haven't seen real snow since way back in the 90s, and not a lot then.

yeah i know the feeling too seawaters...we used to get loads of snow but the past 3-4yrs nothing realy...ohhhhhhh man "I WANT SNOW"...."LET IT SNOW"....:???:

I mentioned earlier that I will be working on continuing my organizational stuff. It is not that I am doing spring cleaning. I am actually doing this to get things moved out of the kitchen/den area to begin the work on the gourmet kitchen. We are still awaiting approval of the plans. Hubby worked so hard on them, but it is something he loves to do. My son gave him a current "issue" of AutoCad, the professional level one. He is like a kid with a new toy, and my son just loved being able to do something for him! TTYL

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm feeling much better today, but I still have to drink this doggone decaf coffee for a while longer. I found a great Starbucks decaf for the Keurig, but the decaf that the company buys for work is just slightly-flavored water...*shudder*.

Today is the day my son goes to his weekly guitar lesson. I might work through lunch and leave here early so I can go with them. I know the guy who owns the music store, and he lets me play all the guitars on display while Jacob is having his lesson. As they say, "it's not what you know, but who you know". :-D

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Glad to hear you're starting to feel better! Been thinking about you. Hope you get to spend the rest of the day with Jacob.

I just knew you would come through!!! Frosty, this is one of my absolute favorites! Xmas introduced me to this song, and I bought lot of the CDs by Roy Wood!

Well, since you said so. cheesy

Over on Xmas' thread of A Christmas Song a Day, Mike24Forever said, "You are making the count down to Christmas fly by. Thank you for doing this. I really look forward to it everyday." He really is!!! It is so good to know that I can go to at least one place and hear a Christmas song a day and pass the countdown in this way. I am not sure if it helps Xmas pass the time, but it sure does something for me! I think I will start a new tradition for myself: Listen to the song each day AND THEN on Rudolph Day, try to listen to that month's songs! That way, I would have something to really look forward to. On Rudolph Day, I could listen to the songs for that particular month in the background as I read the posts on the Countdown! Thanks, Xmas!

I applied for this over a year ago and never heard back so thought they forgot about me. Got a call a few days ago and have been sending emails back and forth with them. They just want to see more of what I can do. If all this is acceptable then I will start to take courses to learn to do it their way as apposed to the way I taught myself.
This job is to teach a basic cake decorating course a day or two a week.

Good luck! You do such beautiful work!
