Christmas Countdown - 2013

Hey everyone. I'm just waiting for my daughter to get home from work so I could go to sleep. I had a headache all day and I am so ready to go to bed.
I was changing the channels on the TV earlier and came across that show called My Crazy Obsession. I have never watched it before but it got my attention because this episode was all about people that are obsessed with Christmas, lol.
Tomorrow is a big day for us, my oldest has her graduation ceremony. Unfortunately the school only gave out 4 tickets to each student so it will just be my husband and I and my other two girls. The grandparents are all disappointed. I feel bad!
Anyway, I hope everyone had a wonderful day!

I remember that episode, I felt glad about myself not being that obsessed. cheesy I hope your headache clears up.

Just checkin in everyone! have had an awesomely bad week. both mine and brandi's cars are in the shop and of course the warrenty just went out on both and both are suppose to be "good" cars. I hope everyone is having a good week. The weather is rainy and windy..Oh I can't wait for next fall!

Isn't that always the way, as soon as the warranties end they go in the shop.

Yes, so excited for Fall!! Today almost felt like an autumn day, it was crisp & cool. I've been in the mood for some mysteries & ghost stories. Maybe I'll have to start an Agatha Christie book!

"Vacation" - Hmmmmmm, I think I've heard of that word before; not sure though; hmmmm! Could be wrong here but it sounds foreign to me...

Maybe it's a word from Italy, lets compare words to see, "Fra-gil-ee"; "Va-ca-tion", hmmmm not so sure! Well anyhow, it's something not from around this parts of the country or at least from around here...lol :lol:

Any new item is wired to have something go wrong with it as soon as the warranty ends, it is part of the manufacturing process.
hope it does not cost to much to fix them!

Three weeks from tomorrow sees us safely to the 1/3 point to Christmas Day.
The next day sees us through the 200-day Season Window and into the 100's count zone.
Wow!

Continued cooler yesterday but sunny and calm, making it seem warmer.
A true warming trend is supposed to start this weekend and last for some time.
That will be welcome!
We currently reside at 42 degrees here in the capital city.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went to the track meet yesterday to watch Jacob run his one event: the mile. I got tired just watching that. A few of the kids nearly sprinted the whole thing, but most were huffing and puffing when they reached the end.

Afterwards, we went with his best friend's family out to eat at Shane's Rib Shack. I had to give up pork, but they had the best grilled chicken sandwich I've had in a while! Another selling point at Shane's is that they offer several different flavors of tea. The Statesboro blend is soooo sweet, it's almost syrup. Blech. I can't take tea that's too sweet anymore. I now pour mine 3/4 un-sweet, 1/4 sweet. That's better!

we do not have sweet tea here so last time we were in the States thought I would give it a try...way to sweet for me too!

I'm glad it's Thursday, but I'd rather it was Friday. It's been such a busy workweek. We've both been so busy that yesterday evening was the first one we were able to spend together since Sunday. We bought some travel items for our trip, listened to an episode of Fibber McGee and Molly, and hit the sack a little earlier than usual.

Last night I dreamed I was looking at photos from an MMC get-together that I'd missed. :? So of course I didn't know who was who in the photos. :-?
