Not sure if you know this or not, but Made LOVES demo work!!!

Good morning!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I need to catch up with the posts here. I wanted to read last night but I fell asleep. I took the girls to the mall yesterday to do some spring clothes shopping while my husband worked on the kitchen. We're still in a mess here, but he's making progress. He tore another wall down yesterday so we had a lot of cleaning to do. He said that was the last of the demolition work. I hope so! Anyway, not too much going on here today. I have a couple of quick errands to run later. Then back home for daily chores. Have a great day!!

One of my favorite "windows" is coming up! I love it when we get to 199 and then 99 days to the Season.

Good Morning, Yet-Another-Week-is-Here Friends.

Yet another week -- yet another count figure:
Days to the Season: 212
Days to Christmas Day: 254
Day after tomorrow -- SINGLE DIGITS to the 1/3 Season Milestone.
Add a day, and the 200-day Season Window opens on a 100's count landscape.
And here's a quick head's up on our NEXT Milestone: ONE MONTH from TODAY, we will be HALF WAY back to our grand and glorious Christmas Season!!
(Isn't this starting to get exciting?)

Real pleasant here yesterday, with the high in the low 70's, lots of sun and not a smidgen of precip.
Even the pollen fall took a bit of a break.
We read 62 degrees here, currently.

Ready for a Marvelous Monday, Folks?
Hey. It's ready for you!

Hmmm. Fire = cool. Out here in California, most fires are either warm or hot, LOL!!!

...

We had our first fire last night in the new fireplace...Man was that cool...of course I set off the smoke alarm but that was easily remedied. House is still standing this morning!

Hopefully by Sunday of this week, all will be complete and we will only have a few finishing touches to do. I'm tired of the upheaval and glad to see the completion in sight!

Great Day All!

Mamma Mia is coming to an end.....Sophie is singing I have a dream....one of the most beautiful songs ever written!!!!......tomorrow I willl pick up the new car...which means....I had to take out all of the junk from the old car....lol....You would not believe it...but I believe I am a car messi!!!....lol....so much junk....even a cowboy hat...kandi´s toys.....trillions of cds, kandice´s hockey stick and on and on....it took me 10mins to get everything out of the car...which is much in my opinion....since it´s a small car

Normally the Elks have reservations at many of the hotels around the cities where the conventions are held. If anyone is serious about meeting up in Indy, I would suggest looking for reservations now. I will be staying with the California-Hawaii delegation. All the states will be assigned a specific hotel. I will try to find out where they will be. The hotels do not reserve all the rooms just for Elks; there are still rooms available for regular customers. Oh, man. I hope many of you can be there. This will be so much fun!!!

this is going to be so much fun!
We could have and entire floor of the hotel just for us!

Safe travels to you, MC. Looking forward to your return; just take your time.

Packing up to head home ... Expecting it to be crazy busy at work when I get back, so don't know just when I can get caught up here. I will when I can, but I'll miss you until then.

July 2015, Ryan. I am scheduled to be in Indianapolis for an Elks convention. Made and I have been corresponding about a get-together, and this seemed like a good idea. That way, we could all meet at a fairly centralized place, and it's a trip that I plan to make, even if no one else can make it. Made and I can party for everyone in that case, LOL!!!

Hello all. What's this I read about a get together this summer? Is there a thread somewhere (I looked around, but could not find it)? I've been gone for a while out of town.

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

You better not leave, unless it's to pick up some snow or something! I am already looking forward to it!

I'll be there for sure!!!!! Wait, I'm always here, unless I leave. So I promise not to leave.

This will be an unofficial gathering. Stay tuned for news on a possible official gathering.

Since Hubby and I will already be traveling from California, I (with Made's encouragement) thought it would be a good idea to suggest it just in case anyone else would like to start making plans.

Good morning,

So 2015 could become a reality? That would be awesome!
Just getting round to getting up. Not much on the docket for today, which is great. I should probably go eat some breakfast.

Enjoy the day!

So funny, Brad. Why not have all the kids who ride past your house get out and help with the yard work?

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well...I reported in last night, and nothing much has changed since then LOL. I hope to get the mower fixed today, if I can get the part. Everyone from school rides past our house in the mornings, taking their kids to class. Nancy says the yard is embarrassing her, so I better get to work on the problem, if I know what's good for me.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good luck to your son as he continues with baseball season. I was a pretty good softball player and got my name in the Gastonia Gazette several times!

Happy Monday morning all. With the Masters this past weekend, Spring is officially here. When he was younger, my Dad was an avid golfer and the Masters was always the start of the spring at our house. Weatherman is calling for light rain today and most of the week but it is sunny now. Hopefully the rain holds off this week so we get our high school baseball games in. Prior to last week's spring break, our son was swinging the bat well and his batting average was climbing.

Have a blessed day everyone.

You do know that you are supposed to share, right, Minta? We have the Lear to travel around to all the ones on the forum baking or cooking.

Afternoon gang ... not much happening here. Weekend was filled with the opening weekend of little league. Yesterday I did made cookies for the kids lunches this week and gave them the choice of the type of cookies. Of course they both said chocolate chip. Went to the pantry to grab a bag of chocolate chips and what did I find..... a bag of Christmas Chocolate chips (red and green chips) so that is what I used.

well my lunch break is almost over ... hope everyone has a great day

I like ABBA, too, Track. I have never seen Mama Mia, so I guess that will be a purchase coming up soon!
