Hey everyone! Sorry I am such a slacker on here. It seems I pop in and take off again.

Yesterday was a beautiful day! Wayne and I took a bike ride around the lake again. It was really nice.

My mom was having trouble using crutches so my dad and I were going to head to some thrift stores to try and find a walker for her since she only needs it until she heals, no need for a brand new one. As he left the house there was a garage sale on his street with a walker for sale. It was in perfect condition for 1 buck!!! My mother is HATING not being able to get around on her own. She is told to keep her ankle elevated and stay in bed until she sees the doctor but she keeps hopping all over the house and plans to get out today. There is just no keeping her down at all, she has so much energy! With her positive attitude she will heal quickly. She is still in some pain but cannot wait to get back at the gym. Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers!

I gotta run, busy busy busy today. They are keeping us extra busy at work. All the gardeners are out planting and they are buying up all of our stuff at work! So today is church then work.

It's going to be another beautiful day here, so I'm going to take full advantage & go on a little road trip. I'm going tmeet my sister in Whitehall & take her out to lunch to celebrate her birthday.

I better pick out some good tunes. Any suggestions? I want to get the new Michael Buble CD.

I understand your decision to stay home with the kids today. I remember those days well, it can be so stressful when they run, run, run like that. But thats what they do! Have fun with the kids today and have a great time at dinner with your friends!!!

Thanks! One of the people that always comments about it, which really hurts my feelings, is my sister, which is their babysitter and she knows how they can be. My kids are good children, don't get me wrong, but they are like every other 1 and 3 year-old and have there moments. She will get her fill when she has her own. I tell her that all the time!

What is everyone's plans for today? DH is working, so the kids and I are just hanging out at the house. There preschool/daycare was having a party at a local bowling alley, where they could go bowling for a few hours, but I decided not to take them. It would be okay just taking one of them, but taking both, especially DS, it would be out of control. If I turn my head for one second, he is gone and he just runs around - it's his age! Some people who don't have kids don't get it and look at me like I'm crazy and say to me, "It's your kids, you can't take them places and take care of your own kids?" Yes, I can, but this is totally different. It's somewhere where both of my kids have never been and with lots of people, plus as I said, my son is at that busy stage and just wants to run, run, run. A lot of people don't get it, but oh well. We will stay home, play outside here later this afternoon, and the kids want to blow bubbles too. Sorry for the rant! Haha

DS sounds a lot like my youngest niece!!!!!

Thanks - it will get them to burn some energy! Maybe we will do some sidewalk chalk too, but will have to do it on our deck (we don't have a driveway or a sidewalk yet - that is one of this year's projects or so DH says!)

I am looking forward to the peanuts! I love Texas Roadhouse. It's my favorite chain restaurant. So good!

I'm still wore out from helping with the girl scout event yesterday so I don't see much happening up until that point. Just laying around on the couch and watching some tv. I say that, but I'm sure something will come up. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

hey my friends....we are back from kandice´s two game field hockey tournament...it turns out that almost all of them never played a real game...so they lost the first game since they had not idea what to really do...but in a very cute way....then they won the second game 8 or 9 : 0 ....they really played a good game then....attacked the opponents...ran a lot....they just played, really, really good....and it turns out Kandice is like I was.....a fast sprinter who will probably play in the attack as a striker....she only practise once since Christmas and played a great game.....almost scary to imagine her play some when she practised more and more....my daughter is a hockey superstar...

Good morning, Day-late milestone celebrators! Or should I say, I apologize for not posting yesterday's milestone celebration on the correct date...

Again, sorry for being MIA yesterday. Kim and I had a very busy day that saw us (accidentally) biking about 50 kilometres (31 miles for my American friends). The wrong turns and frustrations caused me to be in such a rush - we had lots of plans all day - that I totally forgot that I was countdown lead for such a momentous milestone! Well, here it is... a day late. Sunday's count to follow shortly!

Overall, yesterday was a nice day. You could tell that good weather was on its way. Despite the fact that temperatures only reached about 10c (50f), the sun was able to part the clouds and shine brightly a few times during the day. And it was warm! How did you celebrate your Milestone Saturday? I hope you did it well!

Hope you had a Stupendous Saturday! Again, please accept my most sincere apologies. That extra long bike ride filled with twists and turns and fighting with a jammed bike chain really threw my day off and made everything VERY rushed.

Good morning, Christmas family!

Great night at my brother and sister in-laws last night. We watched the race (which was boring) and sit around and talked. They have a son who is 13 and is gifted in size and he loves to talk football with me...which I love to talk about. So between the food, the race, the laughing, and the talking about football....it was a great night.

Today, I'm going to sit here and drink coffee for the next few hours, then I'm going to go to work. After work, more nursery time and then I'm cooking supper for my lovely wife. She doesn't know it, but this is the day that we (just me and her) celebrate her becoming Dr. Wifey in 13 days....DR.!!!!!

So, I'm off....have a great day and I will catch y'all tonight!

It's a small town, and so my sister chose a place there called Dodge City Grill that sounds good a locals spot of sorts...My fingers are crossed, lol. We always have fun wherever we go, and laugh like teenagers!
