Until you feel comfortable taking your children certain places, I completely understand! It's a safety issue. I am that way about taking my grandchildren swimming. I have 3 grandkids and will not take them alone, I prefer help so I have an extra eye to keep on them. Safety safety! Not to worry about what others think, you will feel more comfortable as they get older to take them more places.Good morning, MMC family! How are you all doing? All is well here. Glad it's still the weekend, even though it will soon be over.
What is new with you all? Not too much going on here, as far as news. We took the kids up to Erie, Pa, to an indoor water park. They had a ton of fun, but it was sure a drive. It's gearing them up for the very long drive, that we will have in June, when we go Myrtle Beach.
What is everyone's plans for today? DH is working, so the kids and I are just hanging out at the house. There preschool/daycare was having a party at a local bowling alley, where they could go bowling for a few hours, but I decided not to take them. It would be okay just taking one of them, but taking both, especially DS, it would be out of control. If I turn my head for one second, he is gone and he just runs around - it's his age! Some people who don't have kids don't get it and look at me like I'm crazy and say to me, "It's your kids, you can't take them places and take care of your own kids?" Yes, I can, but this is totally different. It's somewhere where both of my kids have never been and with lots of people, plus as I said, my son is at that busy stage and just wants to run, run, run. A lot of people don't get it, but oh well. We will stay home, play outside here later this afternoon, and the kids want to blow bubbles too. Sorry for the rant! Haha
This evening, a couple of my girlfriends from work and I are going to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, to celebrate my birthday. It will be fun. We can't stay out too late though, since two of us work tonight. I am just glad we get to go.
Well, I am off to read some of the posts here and then I have some laundry to do from the past couple of days. Talk to you guys later on. Praying and thinking of you all, plus your families and furbabies! God Bless and keep smiling!
cool! That ought to keep the plane cleaner, thanks! And with this post, Christmasstar is poster #17,000. For her efforts, she receives four covered litter boxes!
and people laugh at me for keeping a little bag of drugs in my purse! You never know who will be helped by it, so awesome he was feeling better and able to enjoy the weekend.A quick story about the weekend and then I am going to bed: One of the members of the Redding Lodge has leukemia and had undergone treatment three days before the competition on Saturday. He was extremely ill and carried around his "bucket" in case of throwing up. I just happened to have six packets of my anti-nausea medicine that the doctor had prescribed for me. It is a pill that you put under your tongue and let it "melt." He had not heard of it and assumed his doctor had not either since she did not prescribe it for him. He felt better almost immediately and could not thank me enough. He told his mom about someone helping him out and she told him to be sure and get the name of the medication. I gave him the remaining pills I had. When I saw him at the awards banquet Saturday night, he looked so much better and told me that he could not believe how good he felt. I told him that I felt good just being able to help him! He said his first job on Monday is to call his doctor and order some of the pills.
Do you phone in your order from your table, Snowflake? What is in the basket with the burger? It looks like hush puppies to me!
Will you receive your license after that, or do you have to have additional training/testing? Is it very expensive to do?
Just remember that there four operations in math. Do each one if you are not sure and then see which answer choice makes sense.

I am preparing for the practice exam now, which was included with the course. I do that over the Internet. It is 4 hours long, and so I'll need a quiet house. When I complete that, it'll tell me what areas I need to work on, and I have to print up a certificate when I complete it. Then, I start to prepare for the actual exam. I schedule that when I'm ready, and it's $100 to take the test. Luckily for me, there's an approved testing facility here in town, about 10 minutes from our place. There's only three in the state. I take my certificate, and calculator when I'm ready. The course itself has costed about $750 so far, so not too bad. But, once I pass the test & start up my business, that's when it gets expensive.

praying it will be OK! My brother would say "they are so cute at that age!"Christmasstar, I told my mom about resting that ankle but she wouldn't listen said she was just fine. I am hoping she gets a good report from the doctor and she didn't cause anymore harm to her ankle running around yesterday! Thanks for your advice anyway but she won't listen! Lol!
