Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good morning!
Just came back from my morning walk. Temperatures are in the upper 40's right now but the sun is shining and we are supposed to reach almost 60 degrees today. I am going to call my father in a few minutes and see how he feels today. Then I'm heading out to the butcher after I finish my cup of coffee. I also need to stop at the pet store for a few things. Then back home to get some chores done around the house while I wait for my daughter to finish her SAT. This afternoon I have a baby shower to go to, it should be fun.

Good morning everyone. It's pretty cool here...like many of you have posted...well below normal for this time of year. It's not uncommon for Oklahoma to be in the low 90s in May, but usually its in the mid-80s. Crazy...where's that global warming when you need it?

Need to do some yard work today, finish up some school, and hang out with my little monkeys (aka childrne). Hope you all have a great Saturday!

I am good, after a few cups of strong coffee!!

We are going to take Harlowe & Jazzie for a walk soon. It's still cold & wet outside, only 36 degrees. They are saying it's supposed to reach 63 degrees today...we will see

If you are watching the Derby today, you may catch a glimpse of Adrian's Dad. He & two other gentlemen (Mr. Meyer & Mr. Norris) will be delivering the winners wreath to the winners circle. They are all Congressional Medal Of Honor recipients, heroes & amazing men!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a rainy day here with a high near 70. Well at least they say it's going to be rainy. It stayed south of us all day yesterday. I still feel horrible but there is to much going on today to let it get me down. So I'm off to the grocery to get some snacks and then it will be back home to watch a mixture of car racing and horse racing all day. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

I have to go get ready here and head to the dentist. I am trying a new dentist out, so hopefully I like this one. You all know the dentist's office is my favorite place on Earth! :wink: Actually, I'd rather walk on hot coals than go to the dentist. I think I have a cavity and I sure hope not because I do not like those numbing shots! I will let you know how it goes when I get home later.

Hi all.. today was our community yard sale. Jude and his friend (and Noel, to a lesser degree) had a lemonade standa nd then we shopped around. I got a beautiful wardrobe for our bedroom for a steal!!! Now it's a beautiful day, hubby is working, and there's not much to do... hmm.
