Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be an overcast day here with a high in the low 70's. My big plan for today is going to be heading to the horse track and making my bets for the derby. I'm going to go with Goldencents, Revolutionary, and Orb. So if anyone else is going to bet, avoid those horses!! They will probably all stumble out of the gate and then throw a shoe before they hit the first turn if my luck at picking horses holds up. I also need to avoid the other building at the track that I can't name here (the server has that word banned for some reason). All of those machines with flashing lights and ringing bells will be calling my name though. So it's going to be hard. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Here you go Sugar. This is my post from Friday morning before I went to the track to place my bets. I stuck with Goldencents but dropped Revolutionary and Orb because the forecast switched from just rain in the morning to an all day rain.

So I had 1 and 3 but dropped them at the last minute when I listened to the so called "Experts".

Awww ... well, I'll find a copy somehow someday. I went Disney shopping on iTunes after I logged off last night and bought the newest soundtrack album of "Pinocchio," which includes lots more of the background score.

We've got quite a mix of music in our house, too. Everything from early rock, doo-wop, vintage country, vaudeville, Broadway and soundtrack albums, children's albums, theater organ, barbershop, choral music, a cappella, and plenty of Christmas music, of course---a little bit of everything---on cassettes, CDs, and MP3s as well as 45s, LPs, and even a few 78s. (Yes, we have a turntable! Actually, two.)


Nice!!!! I used to have a bunch of 45's and 78's and 8 tracks, but I gave them all away to Amvets a couple of years ago as well as three boxes full of classical, big band, choral music and barbershop. It just got to the point where I ran out of places to keep them and the mrs was constantly on me about that issue, so I just opted to just give them away. I thought that maybe they could sell them and raise some cash for a veterans cause.

I wish I would have known you then, I would have given them to you for free, of course, that is if you wanted them....If that oppourtunity presents itself to me again, I will contact you first....

That's okay---we don't have a lot of spare space for those either! If you get to missing any particular ones, let me know. If I have them, I could make MP3s for you. Your Mrs. couldn't say those take up too much space!

I also found a seller who has the "Song of the South" album I've been missing, so that's on it's way. I'm really looking forward to hearing that again.

We are going to take Harlowe & Jazzie for a walk soon. It's still cold & wet outside, only 36 degrees. They are saying it's supposed to reach 63 degrees today...we will see

If you are watching the Derby today, you may catch a glimpse of Adrian's Dad. He & two other gentlemen (Mr. Meyer & Mr. Norris) will be delivering the winners wreath to the winners circle. They are all Congressional Medal Of Honor recipients, heroes & amazing men!!

What is your plan for the day?
