slow day at work. They posted lists of how fast we scan things, I am near the bottom of the list so I had better go faster if I want to keep this job!
Hopefully it does not depend on that.

I have these bugs on my deck, quite a few of them. I am praying that they aren't ticks.

I would be shocked if they were, I saw 7 of them at once, and they do fly.

Can't tell from the pics on Google..

Any ideas?

I do not recall what they are called but they are not ticks. We have them here too.

I am feeling a little stressed but I will be okay! Yesterday my dog at the vet, today my cat, tomorrow my mom's surgery. It's just surgery on her ankle but I cannot help but feel stressed and nervous! I tell myself, "Stop it"! I will just be glad when she is out of surgery and on the road to recovery! She has so much trouble sitting still and actually still doing whatever kind of exercise she is able to even though her ankle is giving her problems. With her upbeat attitude on recovering I am sure she will do well! I really do appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers!

Christmas cheer will get us through it all!!! :-D

['Tis the season]

I became an Great Aunt at 10:27 this morning. Here is Elizabeth Grace, who weighs 7 pounds, 8 ounces. Look at her! She looks good for a newborn, and look at those eyes open and looking around already. My niece and nephew-in-law are so proud they're ready to pop. I can't blame them!

Congrats, that's wonderful news.

I know how your mom feels. I only stayed out of work for the swelling to go down. The first time, I drove myself to work with a knee-high cast on the left leg. The next time the surgery was on the right leg, so Hubby had to drive me to school. I, too, remained active and did not let it get me down. People were always telling me to slow down! Wishing you peaceful feelings, CAH. I am sure you are worrying about all of this, but it WILL get better!

Just took Chico to the vet yesterday for a check up then last night my cat is showing signs of a bladder infection so off to the vet again! I cannot put that off for another day. He just got over one a couple of months ago.

No time to read any more post, going to get out of here and get to the vet as soon as he opens.
