Just talked to my sister and mom. They said the concert was great but they froze because the temperature dropped really quick after it rained and their thin coats didn't do much to stop the wind. They've also been in their car for 30 minutes and haven't even managed to pull out of their parking spot. So they won't be home for awhile.

I didn't handle it the best! Poor Har ran away from me, so I must've scared her when I yelled for Adrian to come help me, he was downstairs. I was in panic mode.

I'll have to try to stay more calm if it ever happens again

... too bad the weather is still being difficult, though.

Good evening,

Captain party pooper here, so little time the last few days to post much of anything here. I have the next 2 days off, 2 days off in a row are so rare for me so I cherish this. JP had a Cub Scout Den meeting tonight, and my wife had her Zumbathon so that meant I had to bring LC with us, never trust a 5 y/o with a stick, fire, and a flaming marshmallow. I will be heading right back out first thing in the morning for JP's baseball practice, if it doesn't rain. Just watched some Robot Chicken, will listen to some music before the sandman visits.

I'm glad they froze!!!! Like I said earlier, it serves them right for not taking me. :lol:

They will be there for at least 2 hours. It's always that way up there and they got there early so they have a lot of cars ahead of them. That's why I hate going there for concerts.

Pain? Absolutely! The dentist thought maybe I might need a root canal, but not sure. Thank goodness I have some medicine! Thanks for your kind thoughts.

Wonderful news Made!

I bought my Mom a nice spring outfit and sandals and a new charm for her bracelet. She loves to drink tea and I found a cute little teapot charm. I hope she likes everything!

Molly and Maggie are also on Frontline, but I still would have been scared too. I'm happy you found the tick and Harlowe is alright xo

Yes, to the starch, LOL. I clean so that when we bring back the vacation mess, it is easily spotted in a clean house, LOL!!!

Why do we want to clean and organize so much before we go on vacation? I do the same thing, just told my kids that everything had to be cleaned and neat and tidy before we leave for Vermont on June 1st. Maybe it is because we feel like we really earned our vacation this way?

Ironing? I think I still have an iron and an ironing board somewhere. Remember spray on starch? Is it still available? I used to do my dads shirt colors with it all the time.
