Christmas Countdown - 2013

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to give a warning that if you don't see me posting for months and months that everything is all good on my end. I am very busy with classes again. Once I graduate in a couple of months then it will be time to look for a job that fits my degree. I hope to pop in here and there! I don't use social media so the best way to keep in touch is through PM. I will check that from time to time when I login. I barely have time to make a post let alone read everyone else's. It's not even worth it to me to post if I can't see/comment what's going on with everyone else! Just wanted to explain what's going on if I vanish!

You and your families have all been in my thoughts! Hope everyone is doing well! I will post again whenever I get the chance!

This weather is insane!!

Woke up to clouds & high winds, got cooler than expected & then it started SNOWING!! It wasn't in the forecast..
Flurries only lasted for about 15 minutes, then it rained. Now the sun is out. What the heck?!

Yep, that's right. In 2 hours and 15 minutes, Wifey receiver her doctorate....I've been walking around the house all morning, talking in my bugs bunny voice sayin...ag, what's up doc?

Graduation today, party tonight! See yall tomorrow!

Cats are awfully good at hiding their feelings when they want to!

Does anybody here ever watch "My Cat from Hell"? It's sort of the feline counterpart to the Dog Whisperer.

My wife watches that show, I watch it with her sometimes. I like that show, but I will not watch Teen Mom 2 with her, I would rather shave my head with a butter knife than watch that.

Sorry, mother nature entered the wrong zip code for that. It was supposed to hit here since it's the first day of practice for the Indy 500 and that's how may usually goes here.

Oh boy, did we just have some whopper of a storm that just came thru here... lost power for a little while to boot! I'm hoping that it cools off just a touch because it was 85 degrees here today, too hot for this time of the year!

Lisa has decided to paint one of the bedrooms tonight, so while she's doing that, I'm going to chill out a bit and kick back and watch the Harry Potter movies that are on all weekend on ABC Family.

I'm not allowed to paint or even get near a paint brush, the last time I tried, I got more on me, the floor, the furniture, etc...than the wall I was painting. Oh, it was not pretty so I've been banished from the painting world :-?!

Tomorrow, I think I'm going to start working in the garden just a bit since the ground is all nice and soft from all this rain yesterday and today. Well, i'm off to the world of Harry Potter.

Ps, I slipped out of the house while Lisa was upsatairs painting and went up to the store and bought a Mrs. Smith Apple pie and a 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream. I'm going to surprise Lisa with a little snicky snack for later on! heh-heh-heh...

we had a similar storm roll though a while back, the whole house shook when the thunder rolled, totally unexpected , made me jump a foot!
