Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good night, Dawg. I start back to work on Monday, too. Not sure how I will get through a whole day of teaching. Teaching itself is not hard, but being on my feet is, and getting tired is!

Well I am about to call it a day! ABout to eat dinner then clean up dishes then go to bed..I have to get back ready to get up at 4 am now that Monday is back to work day!! Have a good night all aand I will be back in the morning!

Well I just lit my Harvest and Holiday berry Yankee Candles..I am one of those weird folks who do not like burning "out of season" candles. Soon it will be time to buy the flower frangrances like honey dew melon and honeysuckle and my all time favorite white Gardenia..In summer I buy midsummer nights dream,clean cotton and macintosh..I can remember when they were 19.99 for the biggest size now they are 30!! I alone keep Yankee Candle Co in business. Brandi keeps telling me we need to go to the Flagship store in Mass...I would buy them out I think..it's kind of sad using the last of my holiday candles up..PCB's have been awful this year..I think back over my last 4 Christmases since I have lived here. I joined this lovely Website the second year and am so grateful I found this place..I know we all feel this way. Anyhow I can't believe it's already after 1..brandi just called and said she was on the way home from grocery store...code: get your can out in the driveway and unload groceries!!!

You would love it, so much Christmas stuff year round. I live less than an hour from there. If you ever get up here, we should meet up at Yankee Candle sometime.

Only one house on my street has their outside Christmas lights still up.

Our neighbor turned theirs back on tonight after being out since the day after Christmas. Still lots on around here.

You know, we need to all move to some town, gradually take it over and then rename it to MerryChristmas. Then as having all of you as my neighbors, we would all then have our christmas lights up and lit to this very day....could you just imagine...:wiggy:

The turkey is "resting" and the rolls are ready for the oven. Hubby gave me a taste of the turkey. Yummo!!!

I can relate, when I watch Emeril, I have a napkin tucked in and a fork and knife in each hand....lol :lol:

We have a show on around here called The Phantom Gourmet, my wife and I are always starving after watching it.

so....the tree is out........but stay positive....I will say it with my daughter Kandice´s words

"Mama...it will terrible without the tree....but taking the decoration down is as much fun as putting it up.....at least now we are decorating the inside of the boxes"

when she said that...I smiled and hugged her...because she made something which was sad for her...into something kinda positive

Thanks, Cm3. I was off last night and crashed on the couch about 8:30 and DH and I went to bed about 9:30. I needed it though!
