I would love to have one! Then again I know there are dangers to getting an animal like that and a lot of animals I want as pets would not be wise to have. They belong in their natural habitat but it's nice to dream of having them all!!!
Okay, I thought I was going crazy but I don't even see an "X". I think the part I found comical is that I saw no comment and 2 people "Thanked" them for it. Silence is golden? We don't want our dear Christmasstar silenced! It's blank to me too. except for a red "X", which normally means someone tried to post a photo but the system did not accept it for some reason.
Sad that he died! It is illegal to own one here since we live in the city. They are beautiful cats! They never had any problems out of it until someone tried to break into the house. Even then it didn't attack the person or anything. The person just got the shock of their life and took off. The window was open though and thumper thought it was time to go outside and play. So he went out and climbed the tree. The police got there before the owners and almost shot him. The neighbors stopped them but they did have animal control take him. Even though the owners had all of the right permits and everything it still took them weeks to get him back. Then he died shortly after that.

Jayish leaves his tree up until Feburary...
I am obsessed with Jayish....
YABBAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!
As I type this, my supervisor is doing my co-worker's annual review. I'm up next. I always hate this part. You have to agree that it's been a good year, and we've all worked hard. But, recent changes in the market have placed new demands on our company, so we need to suck it up for one more year and go with an (almost) cost-of-living raise, although that won't defeat the income tax & healthcare cost increases. Big raise next year, for sure! :-o
Yea, the same here, I was in working Saturday and that evening the president of our company came up to me at 6:00pm and asked me if I wanted to do my review now, of course I said yes. Once in his office, it was the same ole, same ole, blah, blah, blah... "It's been a difficult year and we don't forsee any improvements in the economy and with the direction of the current administration, we see stagnation for another 2-3 more years and all salaries are frozen, etc....."!
Uggh...what can you say to that???? Because you know what's coming after that statement,-----nothing!
So, what did I end up doing, I worked all day Sunday as well and ended up missing the Ravens Football game! Well, no one here, can say that I'm not a team player, that's for sure...
it is warming up here in the south too...the snow should all be gone by the weekend.Good morning everyone!
It's Tuesday. And it's a lot different from Monday. This morning seemed like March rather than January. Yesterday's -24c is now today's 0c. It was a warm and slushy walk to the bus. Anyway, not much is happening today. I have no real plans after work. It should be a quiet evening.
Perhaps I will go to the gym for a 30 minute run. My doctor says that I should be running for about 30 minutes at least five times per week in order to help my knee recover. It sounds strange, but it has felt better after every run. Even so, I'm still excited for my next appointment on Thursday. Active Release Therapy is painful, but it feel much better once it's all over. Hopefully it continues to help. The $55 sessions can be pricey!
Well, time to return to work. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves. Have a great Tuesday!
Here in Canada only the prep schools and some private schools have uniforms. For the most part schools do have a dress code but the kids are free to wear what they are comfortable in.all schools over here have uniforms, even pre school play groups but they are not as strict, and primary schools as well
and they take a motion evry 3/4 years to change them so everyone has to go buy new again ,
They wood be pretty expensive for the high school but the goverment give a grant to help those on benifits ( i have said its a great country we live in if your not working )
Maybe about 3 times a year they have non uniform day for charity and evryone pays £2 or something and htey dont have to wear they uniform
nope, went back to look again and it was there.Post #1373 is not blank to you??? Page 138
Does anyone else see it blank or is it just me?

I wonder if it is just because it is on my computer that I can see it? To bad because it is such a cute kitty!Same here.
I had a great Aunt and Uncle that use to just put a big trash bag over there tree at the end of the season and slide it into the closet with everything still on it. Then the next year they would just slide it back out, take the bag off, and plug it back in.
I don't get TCM!!!!
