I hope you are pain-free today!

it comes and goes somewhere between a 3 and an eleven. Today it is at about a 7 (on a scale of 1 to 10) I have a new respect for those of you who live with this every day. Here I am only a few days of this and whining.

Yes and I bought Steel Blue one for my parents for Christmas. I think it's a QVC exclusive color?

This is picture of the cinnamon. QVC does not have the Platinum Plus (6 buttons on the front) one available all the time because after we bought ours I wanted to buy my parents one and had to wait until they carried again. I also cannot find the Platinum Plus in any stores either! I wonder why! I guess they have them where you sell it but I can't find it here.

So, Like I just told CS, we just got back from a late walk with Harlowe, because she really needed one…

...And it's 4° outside! -7 windchill.

My fingers and ears are still numb, and I Dressed like Randy in A Christmas Story... That's how much I love that girl!

At 7 AM tomorrow, it's supposed to be -2° outside. Oh my goodness, My blood has definitely thinned out ;-)

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! Brrr, It's cold out there. We currently stand at 18 degree's on our way to 26 for the day. A big difference from saturday. Plus the 4 inches of rain that we had since friday night flooded everything and then it all froze. So there are a lot of schools here that had to cancel school because it was just to dangerous for the buses to get out. Not to mention half of my neighbors car doors were frozen shut this morning. It's a good thing that I have 2 long extension cords and a hair dryer. Now I'm going to kick back and warm up before I decide what to put in the crock pot for dinner. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has turned really cold here too, -10c (14f) My van doors were frozen too.
We are getting a little snow right now and it is getting windy making it even colder.

My 3 year old granddaughter just said something nice about all of you.

I was trying to rearrange some boxes of Christmas items in my closet. One of my small boxes fell to the floor. It was full of Christmas cards that I got from some of you during one of our Christmas card exchange a few years ago. The cards scattered all over the floor and my granddaughter said, "What is that"? I said, "They are Christmas cards from my Christmas friends". She looked real surprised and said, "Ohhhh, I like your Christmas friends"!!! I said, "I do too"!!! She is always so darn sweet! cheesy

awe that is so cute and I agree with her, I like my Christmas friends too!

Good afternoon, everyone! It's been a quiet day here at the office. The doctor is out of town, and the only secretaries here are my sister and me. It's Sis's birthday today, and her friends from church have taken her to lunch. So it's only me here right now, catching up on the unending forms. I have my music cranked up, and I've got a bacon cheeseburger for my own lunch. There's the good life for you!

I also cannot find the Platinum Plus in any stores either! I wonder why! I guess they have them where you sell it but I can't find it here.

I like it! I wanted a red one or bright yellow would have been nice too.
Wonder why they just do not put out all the colors?

I just had to go back and re-watch the Lula song. Cracks me up! Thanks for your kind words on promising students. It is so funny because the "counselor" sometimes decides which teacher gets which students (normally the "problem students"). She always seems surprised that I can like them so much and they end up liking the "mean" teacher. Sometimes it just takes a simple solution. For example, I have five students just on the front row who constantly play in their desks, disrupting the classroom with the noise. The solution: turn their desks around for a while so they don't have access. Then when they tell me they can sit a little quieter, we turn it back around. They get tired of having to get up and get what they need.

I thought Trixie's "bag o' tricks" might amuse you!

You certainly have the right touch with those students. I'd be at a total loss while they ran riot around me!

I bought DD some gifts (one was a "Dorothy" mug) when we went through Kansas one summer, and found them this Christmas. I also found four bath "sheets" that I had bought for her! I guess I am too good a "hider."

You and Mr.! I went downstairs to look for a Christmas LP earlier in the year, and found a two-LP set I'd never seen before (Christmas music played on the Radio City Music Hall theater organ). I asked Mr. about it---he'd bought it a couple years earlier as a gift, "hid" it in plain sight in the middle of the other Christmas LPs, and forgot about it! I put it on the turntable while we chatted with our friend yesterday, and it's very nice. Must digitize it so I can add it to the MP3 player.

There is a long-haired black cat wandering around outside. He isn't one of mine. I have seen him hanging around for the past few weeks, but he always stayed closer to the barn and the woods. He has been getting closer and closer to the house and the area the cats are fed, so maybe he is planning on sticking around.

Hey everyone!

I cancelled my appointment for tomorrow to get my rib checked out. I am not risking getting the flu by going into the doctor's office. I have heard so many people say that the caught the flu and I feel like going to the doctor is just asking to get sick. My rib isn't sore or hurting anymore and I realized that it has only been about 4 weeks so I am just going to wait it out. As long as it isn't bothering me I am not taking a chance of getting myself sick!

I am going to go catch up on posts :]

I get to go clean the kitchen. Ugh! That is just not fun saying that. Okay, at least I have a kitchen to clean in a nice warm house!!! Also shows that I got to eat today is why the kitchen needs cleaning!!! Doesn't sound so bad after all, off I go to clean the kitchen!!!

That's the one we have, too!!

We used To have the cinnamon colored one, that was my favorite ;-) I got mine at Kohl's over 5 years ago.

But, we had to replace it and Keurig.com only had the black and stainless color..I was bummed!

A lot Of it has melted, due to two days of rain. But then the rain Turned into freezing rain, and now we have ice everywhere..

It has been flurrying for two days now, hope we get a little accumulation!
