Good evening, Christmas family

Well, I am calling it an evening. I am whipped. Lots of stress here in the last 24 hours.....and it really gets a person where they live, no pun intended. My sister and I are supposed to see The Hobbit on Saturday. We both read The Hobbit and The Trilogy books so it should be interesting. If it is half as good as The Lord of The Rings trilogy, then it will be awesome !

Wish is still doing good. Getting his sub q fluids like a little trooper and eating like a little horse. He is nearly 16-1/2 years old. He also continues to fight me when I am giving him his heart medicine. Pretty spunky for a furkid on his "last legs." I am just so thankful that he is doing this well. We will probably have blood work done again next week. I am praying and praying his BUN and creatinine have dropped.......

I watched Call Me Mrs. Miracle tonight on my DVR. It was great to see it again. Take care, Christmas family. Big ((((HUGS)))) for all

Good morning Christmas friends, it's Friday and it's finally chilly outside too. I may have to watch my dvr'd Christmas movies over the weekend. Yesterday at work one of my co workers never showed up for work,which was unusual for her. Long story short they found her dead floating face down in her tub. It looks like she fell hit her head while getting out of the bath but they are still doing an autopsy to make sure no foul play was involved since she lived alone and all. needless to say we are all shook up and upset about it. Please keep her family in your prayers. She is from California but we are still going to have a memorial service for her over the weekend.

Snowball is still sick too..he has a Dr Appt this morning at 10. As soon as he finished his meds he starts having symptoms again. but it's not like he can continue to stay on them for long periods of time because they are very strong drugs. That has me wrorried sick because he will need surgery if he does not get better. Well I better start moving because I feel like I could go right back to bed! Have a great morning everyone! and we are in the 200's now days till the season!who hoo...I still have the PCB's especially yesterday when it turned cold!

Oh Dawg...I am so sorry about the distressing news of your coworker's passing and to hear that Snowball is sick. Prayers being said right at this moment for the family of your coworker and of course for sweet Snowball..((HUGS)) to you and your family xo

Cold and wet yesterday with a light rain/sleet/snow mix falling by evening.
It's supposed to all melt away today with predicted sun, but the temp is not expected to get above the low 40's.
It is 32 degrees here currently, with a very light dusting of snow on the ground.

Good morning everyone!

As Crown said in the countdown update, "Brrr!" is right. Travel to work this morning was downright cold. -23c. Yep. That's about -9f. Thankfully, the wind hasn't picked up yet, it was suppose to be about -27c (-17f) with the windchill. Not bad, eh?

I arrived at work a little earlier than normal today. As I mentioned yesterday, I have to leave at 3 to attend a friend's bachelor party in Mont-Trembant, Quebec. It should be about a two hour drive, so I'm hopeful that we will arrive around 6 PM.

Not much is new. Last night, I went to the gym for my 40-minute rehab run. It felt pretty good. I did a few other exercises as well. Then, I had to coach my team for the final time. They lost by a point, but they had some great moments throughout the game and their effort was almost always there. Despite finishing with a record of 3-9, I know that they improved a lot since the first couple game. Our last win was even over the #1 team in the league. It was fun. They asked me to coach them for the next winter league, which begins in a week, however, I am unable to do it due to the fact that I have to take an Intermediate Math (Grades 7-10) qualification. I suspect it will take up about four or five hours per week.

Well, I should do something at work, I guess. My bosses are both gone, but there is at least a little bit of work that must be done... For now, at least! Have a great Friday, everyone! 299 Days to the Christmas Season is here! And, of course, the weekend is right around the corner!
