That's what I thought---until I got this message today (after I posted in the ChatBox):

Yuletide Junkie said:
As I understand it, Rudolph Days are July, August, September, & October 24th. They are part of the ramping up of the season. The first one begins the Christmas in July celebration. Each one, thereafter, is a benchmark day to complete a Christmas preparation task.

I thought Rudolph Day was the 25th of each month.

What's the straight dope on Rudolph Day??

Well here is the Scoop from our Friends over at Magical Holiday Home and Rudolphday.com-

Rudolph Day
Rudolph Day is celebrated the 25th of each month ending the year with December 25th, Christmas Day. The purpose of Rudolph Day is to prepare some throughout the year so that Christmas is less hectic. For Rudolph Day you might do a bit of shopping, listen to carols, wrap gifts, or sip some hot chocolate. Whatever you do, try to do a little preparation for Christmas and have a little fun. Rudolph Day keeps the Christmas spirit alive all year long!

Thanks for the research, made! That was my understanding of it.

Hiya folks!:!!

it's been a little while since I've been over, sorry.
there seems to have been a very yucky virus going through my family here of late. 1st daughter, then me, now my son. symptoms very similar to the flu but test negative for it.

I've been thinking of y'all alot but seem to be a bit gloomy since Christmas & I didn't want to spread it so I just stayed away.

anything new I need to know? so what's going on w/ everyone? c'mon tell me, tell me, tell me!

That is the temporary construction yard. Our development is new, and they're still building- in the last phase. Harlowe likes to look out that window and bark at the guys when they go in their connex =)

We do have pine trees outside our bedrooms, which is great! Feels like Christmas all the time!

:tree:

Christmas all the time sounds WONDERFUL !!! xo:smile:

Good morning! Another bitter day here so doing some more cleaning, rearranging, crafting, cooking, and baking!! Maybe we will venture into the cold to the library. It's only across the street but I dread going out in this cold weather with the kidS!

I don't blame you !!! It is never nice to go out in the bitter cold when you've been warm and cozy !! Hope you are having a good afternoon/evening !! xo

Blogs are all about spilling what's in your heart and mind!

If you click Edit at the end of your blog entry, I believe you can change the category to whatever you wish, even after it's posted. I can't look further into it now (I'm at the office between jobs), but let me know if you can't find the setting and I'll look into it tonight.

I think that is correct Merry xo

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's still cold here in Central Indy. It looks like we may hit freezing tomorrow but we are also going to get 1 to 2 inches of snow. No big plans for me today. I just need to finish cleaning and dusting before comcast comes out tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

We are going to be sharing in your snow !! Hope your afternoon and evening are nice !! xo
