Ah yes, so sad but yet true.... I've gotten to the point where at times, when I am here alot and for so long, I started to keep a stock pile of food at my desk.

Nowadays, I keep a whole desk drawer full of soups, tuna fish, sardines, popcorn, etc... and a seperate box under my desk with oatmeal, craisons, dried blueberries, walnuts and assorted little goodies.... I call it encono meals...

Well, when you're in the trenches, you need the rations. I hope you got home at a decent hour. I got home around 10:15 and got about the same amount of sleep as usual, but I feel tired today.

Yes ... account people, creatives, traffic person, studio people ... there were still some printing and binding going on after I corrected and checked the copy.

Wish is still holding his own. I know I am repeating myself, so please forgive me. His BUN this time was 130. Normal is 30. Creatinine was 2.4 and normal is around 1.86 and the vet says this is not bad. If his BUN would just go down. The doctor estimates that he only has about 20% kidney function left. The fluids every day are part of what is sustaining him. But you know what ?? He DOES NOT act sick in the least !!

The doctor puzzled over this when he told me the results. He couldnt figure out why Wish seems to feel so good. I think I know. it is because of G-0-D !! At least that is what I think. The doctor also said it is likely that Wish has less than six months to live. He is quite happy right now, eats like a horse and is not sick. If he has more I cannot express how grateful I would be and if he does not it will hurt but at least I did something good, I helped him feel better and stuck by him and loved him with all my heart. But we will see. Whenever there is a weather forecast I don't like I always tell God, "They can predict the weather all they want but it is YOU who controls it" I tell God that same thing about Wish. Doctors can predict all they want but ultimately it is not up to doctors....

Thinking of you and Wish ... It's good to hear that Wish's quality of life is good, even if the numbers are saying otherwise. I hope that continues.

Oh I was was dragging this morning, and still am...I need a COFFEE IV this morning>>>

I didn't get home untill after 11 last night. The problem I have with that, is that I get so jacked up/ wired, that I have such a hard time of trying to get myself/ mind relaxed so that I can fall asleep. I got in bed around 12:30 and read for a half hour or so before I fell asleep. When that alarm went off this morning, I gave it a work out by hitting the snooze button so many times before I finially rolled out from underneath the covers.

At least one good thing, is that they don't give you a hard time for coming in late, but I am still crunching this morning by trying to pull a specification together that is due by noon. Hopefully I can get it done and get out of here before it starts snowing this afternoon. We are not supposed to get alot now, just 1-3 inches. But, I have my 2 wheel drive truck this morning and that thing in the snow is like driving around on ice skates.... And trust me, people in Maryland do not know how to drive in the snow!!!!
 
Apparently Valerie's theme for this year is French country. I hope that doesn't carry over to her Christmas decor. I need Glitter!!!
 
2 hours of Valerie down and no glitter at all.:-(
