Hospital emergency wards can be so boring! My eldest is here with a very bad cough that us making her sore and throw up. I think they forgot we are here. Waiting for chest X-rays.
She has been sick for some time but refused to get checked out until I made her come. We have been here since 4pm and it is now 8:15pm.

I hope she feels better soon!!!!

Thanks, Snowflake. I am UBER excited!!! I called my replacement and told her she can start moving some of her stuff in. She said she would wait because she didn't want her stuff to be in my way. I told her it wouldn't be. I invited her to attend our pizza lunch on Thursday. I also invited her to the get-together the teachers and staff are putting on for me. I told her I wanted to introduce her to all the staff as a new teacher at Murdock. Even though she knows lots of them, I just want to make it official and to let her know that she is a "real" teacher with her own classroom and to remind the other teachers that she will not be able to sub for them any more!!! She laughed at that and is truly happy that I asked her to replace me and that the district approved.

Yay!!

That was very thoughtful of you to include your replacement in the festivities, I'm sure she really appreciates it and is honored to join you!

Okay, what an exciting hockey game tonight, my Bruins come away with another win so I am happy. It is quite yucky out tonight freezing rain right now, so it is probably a skating rink outside. It is getting late so I should head to bed soon.

When I fell and broke some ribs in Missouri, I was in the ER from early evening until 3 a.m. I was exhausted and they still weren't able to do anything except give me pain pills for the ride back to California the next day.

Thank you, yes we are home, just posted a bit back that she has bronchitis and is now on meds, should feel better in about 48 hours.

Good evening Christmas family. Not too much going on. It is only 10:00 and I am exhausted as always. A good day at work, extra long reports just oodles of lines so I was done in less than eight hours ! I wish every day could be like that. Hermione is curled up with her arm across my waist as she sleeps. I guess she likes her mommy a little xo
