Thank you for all the Birthday wishes today! I have had a really nice birthday thanks to all my friends, MMC ones too and family. Special thanks to my sweet hubby, Snow-in-Texas. It's been a great day!

I'm glad to hear that you had a great birthday!!!!!!!

I would have recognized you if you had had on your hat!!!

Well I can't say who the other's one are but that is me in the black tshirt.

We went to dinner at Round Table. We had a coupon for 30% off if we ordered online. We did, and our dinner was almost finished when we got there. That's the first time I've ordered RT online. For Ash Wednesday, we had the vegetarian Queen Guinivere. Really good. I was able to watch a little of the UNC/Duke basketball game. I totally love DUKE, even though my family members went to UNC and NC State.

I just have to comment on the song. I listened to it again just a few minutes ago. The music and the words, to me, are breathtaking!

It is one of my favorite ELO songs, I love the original set up of ELO the most with Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne, and Bev Bevan. The thing about Roy Wood, (the one on the white beard and wig)is he is very shy. He was only 26 when that was filmed, and he was always in costume in order to "hide" himself and perform. I feel the same way when I am in public. Sorry for blabbing on and on, I just like sharing facts.

Another day, another dollar....

Been busy this week...basketball is entering tourney season, so we are kinda all over the place...and some of our bus drivers are sick...so guess who gets to sub! That's right, me!

But hey, we are passed the midway point and I had a pot off coffee tonight....you wanna talk about good....

well, the wife is telling me it's time to go to bed....talk to yall tomorrow!

Made, the DVR is set for practice....I'm so excited!

Good Morning, Friends of the Season.

Did you survive the big 'Pines Party last night?
Eat too many heart-shaped fired twinkies?

Regardless, let your stomach settle and feast your eyes on this instead:
Days to the Season: 272
Days to Christmas Day: 314
Two scant weeks from today, Folks -- the 300-day Christmas Day Milestone, followed by a double-200's count figure.
Advancing right along, aren't we?

We had a wet start to the day yesterday but things cleared up by the afternoon. It stayed a bit cool all day, however.
Now, Friday should be real nice with temps back into the 60's and no precipitation.
We currently stand at 35 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Thoroughly Thrilling Thursday, Everyone!
