In writing, as in most of life: Be yourself. Don't compare yourself with the others---everyone has individual strengths and weaknesses. The weaknesses are not failures---they are opportunities for improvement. Don't be easily discouraged. I'll repeat that: Don't be easily discouraged.

oh goodness y'all! y'all think waaay too highly of my decision. Yes, I was happy it worked out like it did for my coworker & myself, but I was being kind'a selfish too. I should have worded my post differently, I guess. I have BEEN ready to leave the shop but I can't do that. my coworker needs the extra hours so it just worked out that way. I'm hoping the less time @ work will help me not be so sick of the place (well, more the people than the place). Just telling it like it is.

Hello Christmas buddies. Been a very chaotic week. I think I have finally caught up though. I never thought parenting would be this challenging but rewarding at the same time. I could not Imagine being a single parent either. Hats off to all of them!!! Anyhow...work has been good as we are getting closer to our move in 3 months. we have rented a place and over brandi's spring break we are going to fly out there and see Utah!!! That would be around march 15th. Snow should still be on the ground but I don't think we will have time for skiing!

Brandi is thinking about taking a semester off..she really does not know what to do. I tell her not worry at all about working.but she is afraid if she takes time off she will fall behind somehow or get looked over or looked down upon for having a gap in her employment. I am trying to be supportive and tell her to take her time maybe take the fall semester off and get to know Utah and enjoy the holidays with the kids and our familes...Only she can make up her mind though.

I have a lot to catch up on here. I truly hope each and every one of you are having a great late winter weekend! Snow on the north and rain in the south!! we are getting about 5 to 7 inches in between now and Monday night and we need it! Have a great night everyone!

Just finished with supper! I was in the mood for quick and easy! I made tilapia nachos...a little fattening if you add the sour crème but so easy to throw together. I think we are just going to chill tonight brandi is knitting and I am on here and the babies are sleeping for now. It's so nice to listen to the rain fall too. A good friend of mine at work just found out his wife is pregnant and due on October 31st...so that just shows its coming around again...time is moving forward and I can't wait until autumn 2013! but I am also making sure I enjoy this time in between too. I like spring too and here in the south it is almost here!

They are doing great thanks for asking!!!! Actually Kylee is on the bed with me now,and Snowball is under the bed...that is his favorite place for some reason. As large as he is it's a bit cramped but he loved it.! Kylee is really fitting in here. And I am even thinking about getting another dog a tribute to Pookie who I lost in 2011. A friend of mine has a litter of wiener dogs that is also mixed with picinese just like pookie was. she had the wiener body but the tail and shorter nose not long and straight like a full nblooded wiener dog. at any rate I want one so bad but they have not been born yet..I guess time will tell. I just wish I could adopt every dog that needs a home. I still volunteer at the local animal shelter and right now we have a huge mastiff bulldog that needs adopting

But I can't..snow ball would not like that...
Anyway I hope wish is doing good along with your other furbabies..God bless you both!:hi:

Awwwww.....I SO WANT little wiener dog !!! I sure wish I could adopt one of those babies.....I really do.....Mastiffs are such noble dogs, very big but very gentle.......Good for you for volunteering...you have a heart of gold ((((HUGS))) xo

A "freezing fog advisory..."

That's something that I've never heard of before. Makes the roads slippery, and bad visibility of course :/

We get freezing fog here. The trees are so pretty - they look frosted. Be safe!
