I am running late because of staying on the weather sites too long this morning. its even cold down here at 40F with the wind blowing...we won't get any snow of course but not too far up north everyone else sure is! be carefull on the way to work everyone on the East Coast..that is if it has not been cancelled!

We have a winter storm warning for tonight in to tomorrow. High winds, rain then turning to snow. The reports keep changing, last I heard we will get 4 to 8 inches maybe more. Additional snow Thursday in to Friday. I am going to run to the supermarket for a few things, in case I don't want to go out over the next couple of days. I hope everyone has a great day!

I would def. recommend an AR.

I have owned one for a few years and there isn't a better gun to shoot. I have about 6 or 7 friends and we get together and target practice all the time. We haven't as much lately because of the ammo situation, but we will soon.

yes, that's really the one I want to get. I've just started looking at them and I was kinda overwhelmed by all the options that are avialable to purchase as well; (sights, optics, stocks, etc...). Do you have any recommendations or does anyone else have any recommendations from personal experiences?

Good morning!!!! Heading to work, then I'm heading to the Pines. I have one more week after this one until Spring Break and I'm starting to get an itch. I can't wait.

Supposed to warm up here today with the highs in the mid 60's and sunshine. Hopefully, all of the cold weather is gone for the year. I'm ready for warmer weather to get here so we can get it over and get back to Christmas!

We now have DSL so I'm able to be on the internet from home!

It is poring snow now. Looking for 6-9 inches tonight. Everyone is welcome to come over for breakfast. We will have fresh snow cream! Remember to park at the bottom of the mountain and walk up.

The local community college where I work will be closed so I will get to stay home tomorrow and enjoy it.

Congrats on getting the DSL at home! It has become indispensable at out house.

I'll be there in a few minutes for my snow cream. (I wish!!)

We're expecting snow here overnight, tomorrow, and tomorrow night. They're having a hard time predicting the amount, but so far they're saying 4 to 8 inches, with AccuWeather predicting a little higher. So I can start worrying about driving tomorrow ...

Well they weren't lying when they said this was going to be heart attack snow. I just made my first pass with the shovel and I'm worn out!! The bad part is, we've only got about 1/2 inch so far. We still have 6 1/2 inches to go.

Heart attack snow is the worst! Make sure you're extra cautious! It's better to take a couple of breaks here and there compared to doing as much as you can at once.

Off to a meeting. TTYT. Have fun with the snow!

My sister started Elf on a Shelf this year, and my niece loved it. I love the creative ideas that parents come up with.

Tonight I finished the last candy cane from Christmas 2012. Just something I thought I would share.

Elf on a Shelf seemed to be the new big thing this year. A kid in my neighborhood cried when his mom went to put his away so she let him keep it out an extra two months. I love candy canes!

temps are dropping again, but warmer ones on the way, so maybe the snow will go sooner than June!

Same here! I am looking forward to some warmer temperatures. I freeze every single time I walk to class and the weather is always nuts. Either rain, snow, high winds, ice, etc. It's never nice when I have to walk across campus!

anyone here ever watch the Duggers? Apparently being on TV has been profitable for them if they can afford to take everyone to China for a vacation. Maybe I should be on TV too? Better yet, lets make this into a TV show and then that will pay for us all to get together!

I watched an episode or two of their show. That's a good idea! We can all hang out and get paid for our Christmas love. I think we're more interesting than the Duggar family anyway.

Sorry I haven't been around in a few weeks but I have been completely tied up with school and I have finally finished my Bachelors Program with a BS in Information Systems whoo hoo!!! So I am taking a couple of weeks off before getting ready to start on my MBA. Stay safe! As I said, there is nothing worse than the high winds. They'll knock out power so quickly. I always go to the grocery store as early as possible, as well. I like to get my items before the mob of people rushes in with the same idea.

Good morning! I am on spring break right now, and let me tell ya, the weather isn't very spring-ish! I am stuck inside with all of this snow!!
