Rats! I missed Bates Motel last night.

I love Walking Dead, but I missed the first episode this season, and I somehow keep missing it on the marathons. So I guess I have to wait for this season to make it to Netflix. I refuse to watch them out of order.

As I try to cook dinner, Harlowe keeps scratching on the patio doors to go hang out on the deck...in the blowing & drifting snow storm! My little peanut just can't get enough!

To think we pretty much joined the same week, and my only goal was to get 500 posts and make it 6 months here. You have been such a great person to look up to here, if it wasn't for you and a number of others I probably would have never stayed.

Speaking of coffee, I wasn't paying attention at the grocery store & I bought whole bean coffee instead of ground coffee for my Keurig filter So....since I already opened the bag...and LOVE the aroma of coffee, I decided to use it as potpourri in two different places...

Time to get a coffee grinder. Nothing like fresh ground coffee but the decor with it is nice!

Uh oh. Binger is going to be knocking on your door any minute now!!!

Wayne and I rode 8 miles on Saturday. My legs could have held up much longer because I had no soreness but just got a little lightheaded. I don't think I ate enough before taking that on! I just LOVE riding my bike!!! Thanks for encouraging us to get one. It's the best investment we have made and are having such a blast together!

Hey guys! It's pretty early here but I can't sleep. Not much to report except I really really like it here and can't wait to get set up. Work is just a hop skip and a jump (5 miles. so that certainly beats the 25 miles I drive one way now. Anyways we today is the last day here we will be heading back home tomorrow. Wish us luck on the plane!! we hade it here good they slept the whole time!! have a great Tuesday everyone.!

I got the backyard, but I'm going to get a few goats to do it so they aggravate that dang camel....

Once I bought more coffee....somebody stole the rest of my sweet n' low...so this is day two of coffee problems....I know it was that camel....I know it was!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm feeling much better today, but I still have to drink this doggone decaf coffee for a while longer. I found a great Starbucks decaf for the Keurig, but the decaf that the company buys for work is just slightly-flavored water...*shudder*.

Today is the day my son goes to his weekly guitar lesson. I might work through lunch and leave here early so I can go with them. I know the guy who owns the music store, and he lets me play all the guitars on display while Jacob is having his lesson. As they say, "it's not what you know, but who you know". :-D

Had several inches of wet, heavy snow overnight; now it sounds like it's sleeting. Supposed to be messy out there all day and into the evening. My office is allowing us to work from home today, so I'm here checking email every few minutes. Mr.'s office has no snow policy, so he dug out the cars and headed to the train station. I feel rotten, because he had dug out my car before I found out I didn't have to drive in today. I was relieved not to have to drive today---with cars spinning out on the roads, I didn't want to be part of a collision two days in a row---but it's tedious and lonesome here, checking email every few minutes and doing the work as it comes in. No offense to you winter-lovers, but I'm ready for some warm, sunny weather.
