Christmas Countdown - 2013

Had several inches of wet, heavy snow overnight; now it sounds like it's sleeting. Supposed to be messy out there all day and into the evening. My office is allowing us to work from home today, so I'm here checking email every few minutes. Mr.'s office has no snow policy, so he dug out the cars and headed to the train station. I feel rotten, because he had dug out my car before I found out I didn't have to drive in today. I was relieved not to have to drive today---with cars spinning out on the roads, I didn't want to be part of a collision two days in a row---but it's tedious and lonesome here, checking email every few minutes and doing the work as it comes in. No offense to you winter-lovers, but I'm ready for some warm, sunny weather.

Stay Safe!!!! I love winter but I'm ready for spring like weather. Just not temps in the 70's and up.

Well my neighbors apartment walls are now white again. So to celebrate, I'm going to kick back and enjoy a piece of this white chocolate chip cheesecake.


Oh, my niece did good this morning during her scopes. The doctor saw one spot that was a little bumpy in her intestine but nothing major. So now they are just waiting until her follow up appointment on April, 3rd to see what the biopsies and blood work show.

I'm glad your niece did well this morning. I will keep praying for her! Enjoy your afternoon, made!

I wish!!! I wanted to go the last time I was out in Vegas but everyone else was to busy gambling and drinking to want to go.

It's hard to believe tomorrow is the first day of spring, especially with all of this snow on the ground and as cold as it's been.

Last year it was 83 degree's on the first day of spring here. This year we will be lucky to hit freezing.

I really do not feel like going to work today, but I am quite sure it would not be nice if I just up and quit today. I may have a few people mad at me. LOL Oh well, I have to suck it up and just go, I know I will be fine once I am there. Just need to go and look for my energy, I am sure it is here somewhere.

Good evening, Christmas family !!

I am on my way to bed...Gosh ! Can't keep my eyes open tonight.

Thank you everyone who asked about Wish xo. He ate 99% of his supper tonight which is a good thing. I had been trying to add in some dry food to his soft food so that he gets more calories. Perhaps he did not like the dry food and that was all there was too it. I hope that was what was wrong.

I hope and pray all who are in the paths of storms be they snow or rain, are safe xo

Only a few miles to the center of town, but the way people drive in this state, I still worry!

What is scary is that it is worse driving in Connecticut, I did that for nearly 7 years and it was quite an experience everyday.

It was snowing here last night when I picked my 16 year old up from work and I put one of my Christmas cd's on while I was driving to get her. She shook her head at me when she got in the car and stuck her earbuds in, lol. Such a killjoy.

Sounds like you need to load some Christmas music on her MP3 player without her knowing. cheesy

Well the snow surprisingly fizzled out, we only got 3 inches, I guess we were owed that after the last one dumped 18 inches on us when we were supposed to only get 6-8. They still canceled school so we have all been home today, we did watch "Rise Of The Guardians" (the movie with Santa, Easter Bunny, sandman, tooth fairy and Jack Frost) it was really good, very enjoyable.

Hey guys! It's pretty early here but I can't sleep. Not much to report except I really really like it here and can't wait to get set up. Work is just a hop skip and a jump (5 miles. so that certainly beats the 25 miles I drive one way now. Anyways we today is the last day here we will be heading back home tomorrow. Wish us luck on the plane!! we hade it here good they slept the whole time!! have a great Tuesday everyone.!

Good afternoon, everyone! How are you all doing? All is well here. It's hard to believe tomorrow is the first day of spring, especially with all of this snow on the ground and as cold as it's been.

How is everyone's day going? Mine is going well. A friend and I are taking our daughters to a play tonight, "Sleeping Beauty." We are going out to eat before hand. The girls will love it. Anyone have anything special planned for the evening? Tonight is my night off, so I will be back then to spend the rest of the evening with DH, since it will be getting late.

Especially w/ all of the signs about not trespassing or taking any steps closer.." You will be shot". Yikes.

The locals in Rachel, NV are scary enough. Seriously..
