Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

Still feeling better, so I'm hoping this trend continues. We're supposed to go into Savannah tomorrow to get Elizabeth some dance shoes and a couple other things. I don't mind that...as long as they drop me and Jacob off at Bass Pro Shops! This warmer weather has me dreaming about bass fishing at daylight, while the fog is still on top of the water. Love that!

I snapped this while fishing with Jacob a couple years ago. What a great day of fishing that was!

Oh, yes, the rotary phone and the icebox! I still call it the icebox every once in a while!

And we still talk about "taping" a TV show or movie, even though there's no tape involved now.

I remember my dad repairing the TV by getting new tubes. We didn't have an icebox, but our neighbor delivered ice to those who did. (The Ice Man Cometh) Mother and Daddy still called it an icebox, though!

Back in the day, the iceman and the milkman were occasionally looked at with suspicion by the man of the house---because they showed up while he was away at business and the wife was home alone. There was song about that called "The Man that Comes Around."
