My sister went with her neighbor today to the corners office and she said it was just tragic. The corner told her that her husband had been driving in the slow lane of the interstate when a semi that had been sitting in the median decide to come back onto the road. The semi came out at a really slow speed and Scott tried to swerve but didn't have enough time and ran into the back of it. The worse part though was that he mostly likely would have survived if it hadn't taken so long to cut him out of his work van.

In other news, Boeing confirmed that they are going to lay off 800 employees starting in 2 weeks. My BIL has been there a little over 2 years so he's not sure how far up the chain he is. It doesn't make sense though. They say there's not enough work for them but yet they are on mandatory overtime and working weekends.

Sending up prayers for Stephanie and also your brother in law.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! It is on one of the CDs I bought. Man, he is so talented!

That song is one of LC's favorite songs.

Roy also invented an instrument called the "banjar" it is a banjo strung with sitar strings. It is featured prominently in the song "Fields Of People," on the Shazam album or the Live at the Fillmore CD. (The 17 minute long song)

Hey guys,While we were away in Utah we had a house sitter named Julie, she is a local college student and a animal lover as well. I like her and we both trust her in our house, and when we got back she said everything went smoothly. Just a while ago I was going out to the mailbox and spoke to the neighbor and he said snowball got loose weds night and basically the whole block went out on a search mission for our beloved pooch! Me and brandi usually never leave him alone except the 8 hours of work which he is use to. But for days to be gone just upset him to the point he broke loose to go find his parents!! Anyways he came back about 5 am and everything is fine, but I just don't know why Julie did not tell us,I understand accidents happen and Brandi feels the same way. Well we are not going to mention it to her and meanwhile I am so glad Snowball came back and is safe and sound!!!

Glad to hear Snowball is safe.

PHEW, just babysat my niece (almost 7 months) and my kids were here, obviously (2.5 and 5) and OH DEAR, I am beat. I am telling myself all of these chocolate chip cookies are helping boost my energy... no?

We've been through that a few times, not so much fun. cheesy

Being pretty new to the forums, I'm not sure if this has ever been talked about before or not. If so, forgive me. But...

Has there ever been talk of a MMC convention somewhere? Wouldn't that be fun?! Man, we'd all have to save up for it, but it would be kind of neat.

I'm very bored at work, so my brain is just thinking random things right now!

It has come up a few times, it is such a great idea, I would love to do that.

Goodnight everyone! We are turning in early, the boys are fast asleep and Snowball has us worried all day he is lethargic..We will continue to monitor him overnight...maybe he just has a bug,but when he refuses food we know something is up...I hope everyone has a great and peaceful night,it seems a lot of us are facing a lot of heartache right now...I will keep all of yall in my prayers as usual!!!

Praying for Snowball!!

It's been mentioned frequently, but it's never actually come to the planning stage. Various venues have been suggested, including Santa Claus, Indiana. Remind me of what some of the others were, everybody!

Bronner's, (that was my vote) was North Pole, Alaska ever mentioned?

North Pole, Alaska would be cool!!! Probably way to expensive though.

Bronner's probably wouldn't be to bad. It's about the same distance from Detroit as Santa Claus is from Louisville.
