Good evening,

Long day at work, I am feeling so sick, my ears are blocked, and just feeling crummy. I went through all the posts, just didn't respond to many.

Good night everyone.

Hope you feel better in the morning Xmas!!!

I truly hope you feel better soon, Xmas. When I am feeling lousy or if I am really tired, sometimes I only read the posts and don't respond to many. Everyone totally understands!

How far would this be from Made's? Maybe we could make a side trip!!! What is your "greeter's" name? What did you order to eat, or did you drink your lunch, LOL?

I just googled it to Indianapolis & it's @ 486 miles...so somewhere around that...made, how far are you from Indianapolis?

I'm not sure about my greeter's name, I asked the lady but the phone rang and interrupted us. He was so handsome & kind!!

I ate at The Pub @ Ashley Furniture's Homestore, it was really quaint! So strange that there's a bar/ restaurant at a furniture store. It was nice, though. Very British. And the tables/leather couches were so nice & comfy! Makes sense when I type it, lol. They had fresh buttered popcorn out as an appetizer...so good! I had the pub burger with fries & cottage cheese. My sister had a Hawaiian sandwich w/ ham, provolone, and pineapple. She said it was delicious! Alyssa had a kids hot ham & cheese, apple fries, and animal crackers. We all had soda's! LOL.

I did buy a bottle of wine @ Family Farm's Market, though! It's made locally, and it's a semi-sweet cranberry & blueberry wine. Want to come try it w/ me?

Boo to hockey masks & the woods!!
Cargo vans also creepy!

Well there goes the whole driving you guys to Bronners in my neighbors work van while wearing a jason mask idea.

I'm 3 miles from the city limit or 15 miles from downtown.

Around 9 hours. I can make it a lot quicker though when I want to throw snowballs.

Hahaha!! True!! You're speedy when you're on a mission! =]

Good afternoon, MMC!!

How are you guys doing?

I had a fabulous little road trip to see my sister & niece. We had fun browsing around, and then had a delicious lunch. Then, Aly & I played in the kids area there. Here's a pic of us playing school:

I made a few stops on the way home. There's a beautiful church in Independence, so I stopped for a few photos. Here's one of them..

...And then I stopped at this wonderful little shop in Eleva, called Family Farms Market. They make their own cheese, wine, chocolates, etc. & have locally produced meats & fish too. They also have a beautiful gift shop & restaurant. It's awesome, and I will go back... Often!

Here's a pic of the outside:

And last but not least, a trip to one of the few remaining covered bridges in Wisconsin. It's also in Eleva =]

It still has a wreath & Christmas lights on it! Made me happy!

Great Pics!!!!!!

Oh, yes, I want to try that wine! It sounds fabulous, really! Have you ever had muscadine wine? OMG, it is soooo good! I bought some when we went to NC the last time. I was wondering about having a restaurant at Ashley's. We have an Ashley's in Chico, but no restaurant in it! Speaking of popcorn, I can't remember if I posted or not that I bought a new popcorn popper after I had my hair done the other day. Popcorn is probably my favorite snack (or as MANY of my third grade writers would write, "snakes," thinking they were spelling it correctly!

Or we could get a charter bus. That's it! Everybody on a bus, singing carols as we go from place to place!

That thought crossed my mind too!!!! It might get a bit expensive if we did an overnight trip but a day trip wouldn't be to bad.
