Good morning, Christmas family

I am going to get ready here in a few minutes to go to my hair appointment. I am getting colored today and I am probably going to get some highlights as well. I am thinking something like this:

My hair is not this long and it is already "red" but I am thinking this might look nice but perhaps a little more subtle ??

Meanwhile, another hurdle passed in my "writing" career. I took the final quiz and got 100%. Now on to the FINAL EXAM. Arrrrgh. I know if I just take my time I can get 100. Also, I don't know what the teacher thought of my creative piece yet. I will find out soon I guess.

I am glad you enjoyed your evening last night!!!

Your dad sounds JUST LIKE MINE! If he knows I have a love for something he will pick up things up for me and I try not to be a pack rat but he keeps bringing me things. Lol! I love the Beatles but I really don't need a house full of Beatles trinkets all over the house but he will pick up things here and there. Same with Christmas, he will pick up Christmas goodies from time to time. He is so sweet! Your dad sounds very sweet too!!!

Yes, I have a very sweet Dad too
He's the one that got me into collecting the Hallmark Keepsakes, now that I think about it!! He used to always put an ornament in my stocking..the dog Keepsake one of each year!

My parents leave AZ for WI tomorrow. I miss them so, and can't wait to have them home!

My Dad always makes me tear up in the cards he sends. For my birthday card, he wrote that he's so lucky to have me for a daughter, and is proud to call me his friend too =] I was bawling like a baby, LOL.

And my Mom didn't get my card in the mail soon enough, so she called to say they were thinking of me, and to say sorry that it may get to me a few days late. No big deal, right? Well, she sent my Dad to the post office to mail it... This was on a Tuesday- my birthday was on a Friday, come Thursday there was a knock at the door...USPS... My Dad paid $19 to get me my card in time!! Crazy, but so thoughtful!! That made me cry, too. I am very lucky to have such wonderful & loving parents.

Sorry to gush! I just love them so.

And I love to hear you talk about your Dad, CAH. He sounds like such a wonderful man. Xo

Goooooood morning! Cloudy and dreary, so I'm going to be short. Gotta clean the inside of the truck out. We are celebrating Easter with the InLaws by going out to eat, then wifey and I are going to get a few groceries and visit Starbucks....yummy! But tonight I will watch my favorite non Christmas movie....the Ten Commandments. I will see you then!

Hubby does his specialties and I do the rest. We are getting a Wolf stove, one of my lifelong dreams.

My husband is so excited about the kitchen. He keeps telling me he's going to learn how to cook when it's done. I don't know why he had to wait for a new kitchen to finally start cooking, lol. But I'm all for it, it will be fun to cook together.
