Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a decent day here with a high in the mid 40's. I don't have much going on today expect for babysitting my youngest niece. So far she's in a good mood. I just hope that continues. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My son and his buddies came home from track practice yesterday afternoon...and jumped in the pool! It was about 78° outside, but that water still had to be in the low 60s. Crazy boys.

I had a 5 minute city council meeting last night. That's the nice thing about small towns; sometimes there just isn't anything going on. We didn't even go inside city hall. We had a meeting-on-the-lawn. It was pretty nice, mid-70's, sun setting, light breeze. Ahhh.

So things are finally starting to wind down here tonight. The girls are all in, thankfully nobody is working. My husband is doing some plumbing in the kitchen but I'm sure he will be wrapping it up soon. I know he must be tired. He didn't even eat dinner yet. I wanted to tackle another load of laundry but I'm too tired. The laundry is never ending anyway, it might as well wait until tomorrow. I took my daughter to another store this afternoon to look for prom shoes and she still can't find anything. I saw several pairs that I liked but she didn't. Maybe I shouldn't tell her when I like something because that probably makes her not like them, lol. Anyway, I'm just going to read for a little while before I go to sleep.

In this house everyone has done their own laundry since they were 10 years old, best lesson I ever gave! Now if that would only have worded so well with the dishes LOL!

It is supposed to be warming up later this week, but it's going to get really cold tomorrow and Wednesday.

I about spit out my coffee from laughing at this because that is all that headlines on the news here, "City Council this, City Council that"! In fact they are talking about it right now on the news and it's usually never good! Constant bickering! That's life in the big city! =)

Same here! I started washing laundry at 9. With my kids I was unable to do that because we lived in apartments and had to walk to the laundry room so I didn't want them walking there alone. We would do laundry together.

The one thing my kids have been doing since they started kindergarten is wake up to an alarm clock. I didn't go in there to announce to them to get up and try "dragging" them out of bed. They had to wake up on their own and get dressed then join me for breakfast. It was a success! I had to do the same when I was little too.

It was warm yesterday but will be chilly for the next couple of days. The high will be mild at 80 degrees this Saturday. Good bike riding weather!

I am not sure what is planned for me today, my granddaughter just got here. I am sure we will do something fun today!

Hello everyone. I just got back from the supermarket. It is much colder today than it has been. I haven't had to put the dogs coats on the past couple of days for our morning walks because it hasn't been too cold. Today we all had to bundle up. My daughter stayed home from school, she was up all night coughing. I went in to check on her this morning and she was exhausted so I told her to try and sleep. I might take her back to the doctor today, I'll see how she is later. Anyway, thats about it for me. I'm going to do some chores after I finish my cup of coffee. I hope everyone has a great day!
