leaving laundry over night causes it to double, dangerous thing to do!
In this house everyone has done their own laundry since they were 10 years old, best lesson I ever gave! Now if that would only have worded so well with the dishes LOL!
Hope you had a great sleep

I agree, putting laundry off is a very dangerous thing to do! lol

Good Morning, MMC!!

It's a bright, sunny day here. The high is only 38, though- sheesh. Hope we don't get robbed of spring.

I have to walk Harlowe, and then go grocery shopping today. After than, back to my course.

What is your day looking like?

Hope it's fantastic!!

the sun just came out here too!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My son and his buddies came home from track practice yesterday afternoon...and jumped in the pool! It was about 78° outside, but that water still had to be in the low 60s. Crazy boys.

I had a 5 minute city council meeting last night. That's the nice thing about small towns; sometimes there just isn't anything going on. We didn't even go inside city hall. We had a meeting-on-the-lawn. It was pretty nice, mid-70's, sun setting, light breeze. Ahhh.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I have all girls, they would never go in the pool when the water is that cool. When they have boys here, the boys dive right in. They don't seem to mind how cool it is. Now I'm looking forward to opening our pool!

Good luck on your final test!

Good Tuesday morning everyone. Woke up to a cool 30 degrees here with an expected high of 45. It was cool and breezy at our high school baseball game last night but we got it in. Temps should be in the low 60s by this weekend. It is sad to see the cold weather leave us.

But the good news is Major League Baseball is back! We are driving down to Atlanta to see the Braves and Cubs play Saturday. From now through October, my son and I will be baseball only. Our TV is locked on the MLB channel and Fox Sports South (they carry all the Braves games). We will watch other channels only when they carry baseball. We have satellite radio so we listen to baseball when driving and some at home. I will usually fall asleep listening to west coast games. This happens each year. The wife is used to it and watches her shows in our bedroom.

Have a blessed day everyone.

Can someone teach my sister how to read a calendar? She swore that the follow up for my niece's scope's was today even though I kept telling her that they said the 3rd. So she dropped my youngest niece off here at 6:30 am and drove to the north side of Indy, only to find out that it's actually tomorrow.

our Toronto Blue Jays have their home opener tonight against the Cleavland Indians.

Once springtime gets a toe-hold, I hope we can get rid of all these coughs, sneezes, earaches, etc. for a while!
I wish that were the case here, but all this pine tree pollen is killing me.
:-?

My problem is grass. Once spring kicks in here, my issue starts. When the local farmers cut their hay fields, I really feel it.

I got to the point where I just couldn't stand it any longer feeling so awful from being outside doing any kind of activity so I went to an allergist and was tested (with all the needle pricks in your arms).

The tests found that I am highly allergic to mold, and have bad reactions to grass, maple, beech and oak trees.... So, being that I love to be outdoors all the time, I find that it's a real challange to stay away from all the things that I have reactions to! Needless to say, I have to start taking meds for it in April and I can stop in October after a frost.... (I call it the grass cutting time of the year....)

Hello everyone. I just got back from the supermarket. It is much colder today than it has been. I haven't had to put the dogs coats on the past couple of days for our morning walks because it hasn't been too cold. Today we all had to bundle up. My daughter stayed home from school, she was up all night coughing. I went in to check on her this morning and she was exhausted so I told her to try and sleep. I might take her back to the doctor today, I'll see how she is later. Anyway, thats about it for me. I'm going to do some chores after I finish my cup of coffee. I hope everyone has a great day!

I hope she is feeling better.

Happy spring to you, Solice!

The first week of April! Yay!!
I'm so looking forward to Spring!
Love this time of year!

~LVE, hugs and kisses~

You are a dedicated baseball fan, and enjoy the game Saturday. The Braves look like they could have a good team this year.
I love baseball on those warm summer nights, I will be more into baseball after the hockey season is over.

If we were following your sister's calendar we would be a day closer to Christmas. cheesy

It's a good thing evergreen trees aren't on that list.
