I found a link to the spider story, CM3---backtrack to my previous post, it's in there.

Answer to cold sore: L-Lysine. When I get that first tingling, I take two of those tablets and continue for several days. I bet that a once-a-week regime would work after it is under control.

Me too---but for me they have to be the big 1,000 mg pills, not the smaller 500 mg pills.

I got 56/60 on the test!

Bravo !!!!!!! Congratulations !!

Done with formal training, the rest will be on the job training. We are all going to be at the store next Monday all day working on getting it ready for opening. (April 12)
I now have to study my manual and try to learn as much as possible before then.

Back again, my mom needs hearing aids in both ears. She has a 74% loss in one ear and 82% loss in the other. Those things are surprisingly expensive.

I'm sorry your mom needs hearing aids.

Good evening, Christmas family

Tired, tired, tired !!!

I am getting ready to turn in already. I can't believe I used to stay up all night and go to school the next day or whatever and still had energy. If I stay up until 10 pm now it is a miracle...

I enrolled in two more classes today. One is a grammar refresher course and the other is another writing course. They will not be both at once rather the grammar one starts in just two weeks and the writing course starts in May. I have much to learn and no better way than doing it from my home xo

Star - I am sorry about your mom's hearing. I hope you guys can find hearing aids that are not too bad but are good xoxo

My husband was letting out one of our girls this afternoon when Wishbone literally ran to go out with his sister !!! He still feels well enough to run. We didn't have the heart to make him come back even though he is really too sick to be out of doors. He really enjoyed himself. Of course I kept an eye on him. What kind of mommy would I be if I let my elderly baby (16-1/2) go out without watching him ??

He was just fine. In fact I had to make him come in. He only weighs 16 pounds so I gently swooped him up after a time and brought him in. He seemed to give me that "oh mom, do I have to ?" look.

I hope all have a very Christmassy evening and big ((((HUGS)))) to all but especially to:

I'm so glad Wish is doing well - what a joy it must be to see him playing outside! Good luck with your classes!

And then, there was this one year when we cut down a live tree at a Christmas tree farm, brought it home, set it up and after it was in the house for a few hours and started heating up to room temperatures, the tree came alive.... Yes, a huge nest of spiders started to spread out everywhere's!!! I thought my wife was going to come out of her skin, yelling and running from the basement to upstairs...

That thing was so full of them, I had to take it outside and put a torch to it. Then go get another one from a different place. Yes, this is a true story.... needless to say, she wouldn't go near the tree all season; kept looking at it, the walls, the ceilings like it was going to come alive....

That is creepy!

That is horrifying. I don't mean to change the subject but that reminds me of a story that was on our local news station just yesterday. A woman bought a bag of potpourri at a Homegoods. She saw that pieces of it had dropped to the floor from the dish she had put it in. She sifted her hand through the potpourri and found an 8 inch strip of fresh snake skin. She believes the snake was in the bag of potpourri and is now on the loose in her house!

I think this is even worse than the spider story!

Good morning! Just walked the dogs, its another chilly day. And the wind makes it feel so much colder. I am a little headachey this morning. I am going to take something and lay down for a little while. Unfortunately I do have to go out today. I have some errands that I can't put off. My daughter is in a nursing program and will be graduating tomorrow night. I am going to the mall for an outfit to wear and to buy my daughter a gift. I am excited for her and so very proud. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Congratulations to your daughter!

Our Merlin is a jet black kitty, he has never been bad luck to us, he was found on the side of a road as a kitten, and we adopted him after his first home wasn't able to keep him and their other cat together. He wasn't supposed to have a long life, he has a half a tongue and the vet said he wouldn't be able to eat properly. He is 14 years old, at his highest his weight was 15 lbs. I think he taught himself to eat just fine.

I have three all black cats right now: Le Pew, Lucy Fur, and Bottle. They are so not bad luck!

CAH says to tell you all hi!!!!!!!

She was spending to much time on here and not enough time doing my dishes so I had to ban her until she gets them done. If she hurries, she may be back this afternoon. LOL!!!!!!

Howdy All my Christmas Friends. Been a crazy two weeks. First Saturday was the baby's first birthday and she had a really great time. Than on Sunday after Easter Dinner we ended up taken her to the ER and looks like she has Bronchitis and possible Asthma. Than Tuesday we got great news that she is no longer allergic to Milk. So for the first time we coudl start giving her stuff that has milk in it.

The hope is now that we can get her to fatten up a little she is 30 in tall and barley 17 and 1/2 lbs. Doctor never been worried but me and the wife always worry. For the last few months she has been on 5 grams of protein Almond milk and before that was cans of nutragen. the Nurtragen was like 30 doallars for about 3 days worth.. Insane few months., Now with the milk allergy gone hopefully things will settle out more.

Happy Birthday to your baby! I hope she is better now. Great news about not having the milk allergy any more!!

Awwwww...Merlin's story makes me love him even more.. And bless you and your wife for adopting him and giving him a chance....xo

I agree, CM3.

Well my friend showed back up again today. I rode with him to a couple of tattoo places to get some quotes so at least it wasn't all doom and gloom.

All of my niece's biopsy's and blood tests came back okay. Since there was signs of inflammation during the scopes though, they are going to do another round of blood tests to test for more stuff. They also want some samples from her.

I'm glad your niece's test and biopsy came back okay! I will continue to pray for her!!

Good afternoon, MMC!

It has been a long day! Worked on displays at the store and then came home to make maple syrup - I ended up burning the batch as it turned in a matter of seconds. Made the house smell something awful so I boiled a batch of spice water: cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg sprinkled in a few cups of water. Now the kitchen smells so good!!

I'm off to find some dinner. What's cooking at the 'Pines tonight?

Have a MERRY evening!!!
