JP had his District Pinewood Derby today, he came in 26th out of 28. He had a blast that is all that counts.

I am struggling mightily with the loss of CM3, I honestly cried myself to sleep last night. I have loved reading all the posts from all of you on how she touched your lives, she truly was a one of a kind person and I or we were all very lucky to know her. We love you Louann.

Howdy Christmas family,

I'm like y'all, just at a loss over louann, and I was reading the posts here and the one thing that kept coming to mind was this poem. I have to jump off of here till later, my Husband is leaving out for work to Ks. thats pretty far from Louisiana! and he works 14 day gone and 14 days here, but the job is a blessing cause we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel....finally.

I love y'all and everyone is in my thoughts and prayers, I'll be back later!

beautiful and now the tears are coming again, so true she gets to spend Christmas with Jesus this year, and we will so miss her down here.

Praying your husband has a safe week and that you do not miss him to much!

Lovely wood make the tears start again
goodluck with hubbys new job an sure its not nice having him away for times but i guess needs must and if it helps for a while and get things sorted ,

Good evening, MMC.

Quiet day here, too. I was supposed to work a bit this afternoon, but was not up to the task as the glare from the computer screen was making my eyes water something awful. I'm going to have to put in a few hours in a bit, though. Spent most of the afternoon reading while Mouse slept on my lap. If you like to read I highly recommend the Mitford series of books by Jan Karon - they are absolutely wonderful! I'm on the last book of the series right now.

It is hard to get going when you are feeling sad, hope you get some time in that you need for work.

In my darkerst of days.. when despair hung over me with a huge loss... the messages started to arrive- Cedar.. Jayish... Crown.. reminding me.. there is something bigger than the despair.. there is community....and friends near and far...

We'll go on ... sadder... yet together....

Hello everyone. Just checking in, letting you all know I'm still praying for you all. Watching some wrestling with my son. I'm not a huge fan, but it's popular with the little boys in my son's class so he's in to it right now. But, it's good time to hang out with my little buddy, so it's alright.

It is hard to put it all into words, I have so many jumbled thoughts and feelings. I have been going through her past posts.
I will always think of her whenever I see a polar bear.
