I am getting ready to turn in already. I can't believe I used to stay up all night and go to school the next day or whatever and still had energy. If I stay up until 10 pm now it is a miracle...

I enrolled in two more classes today. One is a grammar refresher course and the other is another writing course. They will not be both at once rather the grammar one starts in just two weeks and the writing course starts in May. I have much to learn and no better way than doing it from my home xo

Star - I am sorry about your mom's hearing. I hope you guys can find hearing aids that are not too bad but are good xoxo

My husband was letting out one of our girls this afternoon when Wishbone literally ran to go out with his sister !!! He still feels well enough to run. We didn't have the heart to make him come back even though he is really too sick to be out of doors. He really enjoyed himself. Of course I kept an eye on him. What kind of mommy would I be if I let my elderly baby (16-1/2) go out without watching him ??

He was just fine. In fact I had to make him come in. He only weighs 16 pounds so I gently swooped him up after a time and brought him in. He seemed to give me that "oh mom, do I have to ?" look.

I hope all have a very Christmassy evening and big ((((HUGS)))) to all but especially to:

Well, the Martins are flying...I'm watching around 15 birds swirling around in the wind....listening to some music....drinking some coffee....and thinking....

Went to the baby doctor today for an official gender check....

It's a girl.

A GIRL.

So on my way home, I enrolled in karate and a concealed weapons class.

A GIRL.

I was so excited to be able to have a son...teach them to spit sunflower seeds, turn double plays, teach them how to treat a woman....

But you know...now my wife is going to be so spoiled....because I will show our daughter how a woman is to be treated by a man....and while it's won't be a boy....a boy can't be Daddy's little girl.

She is going to have me wrapped around her little finger.....I'm in a lot of trouble...

I've already practiced the conversation for her first date....goes like this....

Boy: I'm here to pick up your daughter.
Me: No you're not. Leave.

Oh me....what am I going to do with a girl.....

We are going to name her after my grandmother....my Dad cried...special moments....

Well, I'm off to clean my gun.

PHEW! Home at last!

WOW! I leave for work and 12 hours later come back to MMC and there are pages and pages of posts! Wonderful!

I've had the song "Silver and Gold" stuck in my head today. I normally have a Christmas song 'playing' in my head most days...and its a toss-up as to which song I am thinking about. Sometimes I catch myself humming the tune or even starting to sing it a little. I wonder if anyone actually hears me??? :lol:

Absolutly adorable Furbabies!!! Cute names too! I have a 95 pound Rottweiler named Mercedes. She may be a big one...but she is a gentle and sweet baby!
