Christmas Countdown - 2013

I took mom to the mall and let her drive around a bit. She did fine so she drove home. Then I took a 3 hour nap. So that's 12 hours of sleep today. I think I could be like Dawg though and go back to bed for another 12. I think all of the sleep wore me out.

Good afternoon, friends!!

Hope you're all having a beautiful Sunday!!

My sister & I had a fun afternoon. We got to Dodge Street Grill & it was closed, not sure why because the sign on the door said they were supposed to be open, as well as the hours on the Internet, lol. So, I reminded her of a root beer stand we used to stop at on the way to our summer vacation every year as kids. So, we took a chance and low & behold, it was still there! Brought back many good childhood memories. And it was delicious!!





I'd rather spend my money at a Mom & Pop place any day.

Harlowe & I just took a walk- it's 74 degrees & sunny, with a light breeze. Perfect! Now, we will chill on the deck & people watch =]

Good morning everyone. I'm back to work today after having two weeks holiday. My son was home from boarding school and the weather was just lovely. I love my work, but I did have a relaxing holiday. Have a great day!:gift:

Hey y'all! well it's been a nice day here. we had my Mama's dinner, she seemed so happy & excited about it. She's priceless!
Hubby leaves in the a.m. we have been watching a movie, kinda gory, but if u want my menfolk to watch something w/ you, you have to make sacrifices. the movie was "Arena", ever heard of it?

my boys are done w/ college classes, just have a few exams this week. My son, Seth, is gonna be home tomorrow so he's gonna help me clean out some cabinets & my closet to make room for my "stockpile"

Snow, how are ur classes coming? I think I read where you've been studying for some exams too, right?

Oh cool! this place looks/sounds fabulous. I love places like this. there's not too many left around here in this little dried up old mill town I live in. I like to go to Mom & Pop stores/restaurants when I can too.
