Christmas Countdown - 2013

Yesterday morning Wayne, my granddaughter and I sat on the front porch swing and ate breakfast. Later that day I let her plant seed and water them. I took a video of her planting the seeds and sent the video to her parents. My daughter wrote me later to respond to the videos and said:

"Watching her plant the seeds is cute! I watched both videos". Then my granddaughter asked her mom, "Did you see us eating on the porch too? Me and grandma and pa pa ate eggs on the porch, did you see it? "

She thought I took a video of us eating. I never took a video of that! I could not stop laughing. She is just so cute and makes us laugh all the time.

I guess if we eat on the porch again I better take a video so her parents can see it!

Good morning, MMC!!

It's rainy here on & off, with a high of 74. I better enjoy it while I can!! The high tomorrow is 46 degrees, Thursdays is only 39 with snow showers!! What the?!

I need to run a few errands & go grocery shopping today.

What are you guys up to?

I just quickly scanned over the post but have to run. Are you all talking about Luke Bryan??? I am just catching bits and pieces of Sugar, Snowflake and Made talking about infecting Snowflake. Ha ha!!! I will go back and read it as soon as I can but I am assuming that is it? =)

Can you pick me up some steak fries?? I really want chili cheese fries for dinner but I'm feeling lazy today and don't want to drive the 3 miles to the store.

No news, except that yesterday at work was (thankfully) less nuts.

I wake up at 5:00 a.m. on school days. I usually pop in here more towards 6:00 while I'm having my coffee and waiting for the girls to get ready for school. I have tried to sleep in on the weekend but I can't, I'm just so use to waking early!

Good morning again...it's going to be a slow day at work because I am doing training paper work...I love days like this with low stress. I took a claritan-d for my allergies and it's letting up(the pressure in my head) so maybe by lunch I will feel good again. We have 2 weeks and 4 days until school lets out. I have like 5 weeks and6 days until our move! it seems my whole life has become a countdown of sorts especially considering Christmas! Anyways I have to change Physicians today so I will be on the phone most of the day and faxing records to Utah...fun!! well have a good Tuesday everyone...I can't wait until Friday!

Hello!
I just got back from the supermarket. My husband and I were just talking about the amount of money I spend on food, its ridiculous. Its frustrating because everything that I buy, we use. Not sure how I'm suppposed to cut back. Anyway, it is sunny today and we will have a high of 60 degrees. None of the girls have to work today. My two oldest will probably go to the gym after school and I think I may take my youngest out to practice driving. Keeping my fingers crossed that it goes well, lol.

Glad he enjoyed his visit. How are you parents doing? I've been thinking about them.

They are hanging in there. Mom's wound pump is helping. Her quality of life is not great. Constant doctor visits and home heath care nurses. She is tough.

Thanks. The good thing is it is close to our parents and some extended family. Will give us an extra excuse to come visit him more often.

I'm trying to enjoy his last 1 1/2 year until he leaves for college. His high school senior year should be fun. We are looking forward to our family vacation this summer.
