Lol...I am resting - I am enjoying MMC and TLC. I am waiting for DH to bring back some pizza, then I am headed to bed for a nap for sure!

No, it's a thinner pizza, with a flavored crust. It's called Hungry Howie's. Do you guys have that out there or not?

Hello everyone. I haven't been on much this week so I am way behind on posts. I hope you all are well!

I ended up not being at work yesterday as I called in sick. Wednesday night I was up until 4:00 am as I could not sleep. Turns out, I have a pinched nerve in my lower back! That thing hurts like a son of a gun! It has been shooting pain into the front of my left leg. Anyway, I'm sure it will be better soon and not anything big...be back to normal soon.

The doc has me on a steroid. He said it won't give me 'roid rage, but will make me hungry. So, my BBQ bender I have planned for this weekend may have just gotten even bigger.

I haven't had screws in my ankle, but I do have a plate and screws in my neck. See?

I asked the doc if I could have a copy of this x-ray. He said he's asked that all the time, and he could sell me a copy for $50! When he walked out, I took a picture of it. LOL

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be an overcast day here with a high in the low 70's. My big plan for today is going to be heading to the horse track and making my bets for the derby. I'm going to go with Goldencents, Revolutionary, and Orb. So if anyone else is going to bet, avoid those horses!! They will probably all stumble out of the gate and then throw a shoe before they hit the first turn if my luck at picking horses holds up. I also need to avoid the other building at the track that I can't name here (the server has that word banned for some reason). All of those machines with flashing lights and ringing bells will be calling my name though. So it's going to be hard. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, this reminded me of the time my brothers friend was going to such and establishment. My brotherr told him he could save him money...he would put a flashing light on his head, his friend could hand him $20's and every once in awhile he would give one back to him. When he had enough fun he could go home and my brother would get to keep all the $20's he was given. This would then save his friend gas and hotel $. His friends never did take him up on it.
I took my daughter to one when she came of age because she really really wanted to see what they wer like. So I took her, we each spent less than $20, I told here we would walk out with nothing because it was just a big trap. We walked out with $200! Ever since she has been teasing me about going back for another lesson.

My buddy actually showed up and went with me to the track. So we spent a couple of hours losing money on the horses and then we went into the other building. I played the penny machines, so I only spent $5.

Finally caught up on the all the posts! How are you all doing? All is well here!

I've been doing wash this am and trying to stay inside. My allergies are going wild as well. I finally broke down and went back on my Allergra. This allergy season is so bad. Since we went shopping yesterday and bought the kids a ton of new clothes, I need to start going through their closets today and start packing winter clothes away.

Well I am just getting in from work had to stay a tad late,but that is usual on Friday...but the point is the lovely weekend is here...also A good friend of mine who I met in the Air Force while living here is coming to visit us this weekend!!! We (luckily)did not have any plans except to chill inside since it is raining. My buddy moved about a year ago to Montgomery Alabama and is stationed at the Air Base there(Maybe Maxwell AFB but not sure)..it's a 4 or 5 hour drive I believe, he called this morning and told him to come on down. So tonight we are getting a sitter and going to this place called Cheddar's. He has a really nice fiancé he is bringing her too,I don't think Brandi has met her but I know they will click...so that is tonight's plans and to tell you the truth since the last 2 days have been tough this ole pall is just what I need right now...He always makes me laugh! Well have a great and safe drive home on your Friday...or if you are already in your home have a great weekend!!!ttyl!
