Mid-80' s as cool temps? I would still be melting faster than Frosty in a greenhouse there. cheesy Anything above 72 is too warm for me.
I'm with you but I would prefer summer highs around 68. We lived in Dallas for 6 long years. The heat is miserable. At least I traveled a lot for work so I would get to escape it some. I never could adjust to that heat or the fact that summer time power bills were higher than winter.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a hot one here today with a high near 90. BOO!!!!!!! I hope it's cooler at the pines. Not much going on here today. My buddy is supposed to come over to fill me in on all of the latest drama in his life this morning. Then I need to get some cleaning done. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!
It is going to be mostly cloudy today, chance of showers later and a high of 65 degrees.
Feeling a little headachey this morning. Thankfully I don't have too much planned. I'm going to walk the dogs and I have a couple of quick errands to run. Then back home for daily chores. My youngest has to work again today and also tomorrow after school. Blah. But she has off Friday and is very happy about that. I also need to write out my daughters graduation party invitations. I need to get them mailed out.
I hope everyone has a great day!

Hope your headache goes away, and that you have a great day!!

XO

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Milestone Morning, Friends.

Wow!
It -- Is -- Here.
The half-way point to Christmas Season 2013!
Days to the Season: 182
Days to Christmas Day: 224
Need we say more?

Well, Carl thinks so!
Since the half-way marker falls on 'Pines open house Wednesday, that becomes this week's theme.
Everything at the lodge is half off, from the fired twinkies right on down to the gift shop items.
Don't miss a bargain, Folks!

Good Wednesday morning all. Half way to Christmas season. Hot weather arrives today. Forecast to hit 80. :x

High school academic banquet was fun last night. Still have the athletic banquet tomorrow. With the school year about to end, we are looking forward to June 26 when leave on vacation. Once we return, I'll be ready for summer to end and fall to rush in.

We got our first taste of ObamaCare yesterday. Medicare says mom was using too many refills on her wound pump and refused to allow any additional supplies this week. With no refills for the pump, the home health nurse had to remove the pump and mom started bleeding heavily. The nurse was forced to called an ambulance for the uncontrolled bleeding. Mom spent all day at the hospital and had to have blood transfusions. She has to go back to her surgeon today to have the wound pump put back in. The surgeon says he will attempt to reason with Medicare but is not optimistic. Wonder if Medicare will realize that an ambulance ride, emergency visit, blood transfusions, and visit with a surgeon costs more that simple refills for a wound pump.

Yep! Those summer temps here are miserable!

So sorry to hear about your mom! I will be praying for her.

The two big banquets are over...few hours of sleep and then a 5:00 am trip to state's education department to receive an award....the back home for a quick dinner with my Dad...followed by graduation on Thursday.

I can't wait for Saturday.

can't wait!!!!!

Wow, you're busy, hope you find time to breathe.

Hello, Christmas friends. We have a view of Disneyland from our room! Just a quick note about a TV documentary on The Silk Road that is on right now. The commentator is traveling by camel caravan! So fascinating! Carl would love it! I will not be online very much, so I will have a LOT to catch up on. I will try to check in whenever
I can, but I will probably comment on most posts when we get back home. TTYL

Have fun!!!

Bless her heart. And I'm afraid this is just the tip of the iceberg with Obamacare. Not only does all that extra effort cost more money, it's risking her health!

My wife suggested moving down south recently, I told her she could go without me because I could not handle the heat. cheesy We went to Charlotte, N.C. in July 2004. All I can remember while we were swimming is I could still feel myself sweating under water. If we were to move anywhere I would rather move more north.

She is in my thoughts.

Good morning and Happy Halfway!!!!

I am afraid I am starting to feel the effects of the bug, I feel lousy, but it is not enough for me to call out of work yet. My wife and JP are home today, we sent LC to preschool since he is back to normal.

I am going to go rest before work, hoping this is a passing thing.

Our corporate office is in Omaha, NE. They said it was 100° yesterday!:o

I don't have a lot of time, but I did want to offer some words of encouragement to Brandi. I was a military wife for almost 10 years and I LOVED it! Right about the time I was ready for a change, Hubby was given a new TOD. In fact one of his TODs was right here in southern Cal. He was stationed at Santa Ana, but we lived here in Anaheim, two streets from Katella, one of the closests streets to D'Land!!! Yes, Brandi will miss her friends, but so many adventures await ALL of you! You will find something special about each base that you will love! I will try to write more when I get home to my keyboard! Take care!

Another sleepless night. Not much going on here at 1am...it's alittle cool outside but nothing like last night in the 40's. We are about 3 weeks away from the move.or 2.5. its on June 2nd and I report to work on June 10th. I have another week and a half and so does Brandi. she is actually working up to the day I think we are moving because she has post planning stuff to do. She really is going to miss her job. She was a teacher there 3 years and loved it. It was her first teaching job after college and she has so many friends there she is already crying at the mention of leaving them. I hope she likes Utah! cause I know I am.! anyways not much more going on this end. I hope everyone is enjoying spring. I know it's beautiful but I miss Christmas so bad this year!!
